Pristine and quiet gated community overlooking Intercoastal/Gulf of Mexico located on Historic Victoria Drive.

First Floor unit (no stairs). Forty steps from the front door to the water's edge. Only a 10 minute walk to Downtown Dunedin, a lovely small town with unique shopping and quaint restaurants.

There are miles of paved trail at water's edge for walking and/or biking (immediately outside the condo).

Open floor plan: many windows, ceiling fans, Terrazo floors, granite counters

Small complex 24 units) boasts pool, garden-like courtyard, exercise room and picnic area with outdoor grill
About Brian Strong

My husband (Brian) and I (Suzanne) now live in California although we still consider Michigan our home town. My husband's job brought us here. We have two dogs and two adult daughters. We do not get to Dunedin as much as we would like.

Why Brian Strong chose Dunedin

We fell in love with this property the first time we entered the courtyard. And, most of our guests have fallen in love with Dunedin too. The town is adorable and special. There is so much to do nearby... bike riding, kayaking, golfing, swimming etc. There is a paved walking trail that stretches along the water into Clearwater. The town is eclectic and absolutely adorable.

What makes this condo unique

The compex is small and intimate and overlooks St Joseph Sound. You can walk to most places. On one of our visits we didn't rent even a car but walked and rode a bike everywhere. The Pinellas Bike trail is accross the street. Bikes can be rented in downtown right near the trail and train depot.

Pinellas Bike Trail - (located accross the street from condo)- approx. 40 miles long and mostly flat for easy rides

Honeymoon Island State Park-Honeymoon Isle in 1939 when a New York developer built 50 palm - thatched bungalows for honeymooners. Today, visitors can drive across Dunedin Causeway to enjoy the sun - drenched Gulf beaches, mangrove swamps, and tidal flats. Nature lovers will find osprey nests, a wide variety of shorebirds, and one of the few remaining virgin slash pine forests in South Florida. The park boasts several nature trails and bird observation areas. Visitors can swim, fish, and snorkel in the warm waters of the Gulf or picnic while they enjoy the beautiful scenery. Shelling is particularly good here, as the Gulf currents deposit an incredible variety of seashells on the shore. Showers are available and the park´s concession has a gift shop and snack bar

What makes this condo so special is it's " New Orleans Style"
courtyard charm,the historical area, the old growth oaks, beautiful planters, and the amazing birds. I wore my guide out looking them up.
Osprey, herons, wading birds. I know its florida and florida has alot of birds.....but to observe them so close in such a populated area is pretty cool. Mom and I named them...they were our buddies. We also loved having our morning coffee and having 3 islands within our vision and everyone comes out right before sunset to see the beautiful colors over Caladesi. The condo was very quiet and very comfortable. The full time residents were very kind and the pool was wonderful after island exploring and biking. The owners were very helpful while making arrangments.

Can't wait to return!

Perfect Holiday

We had a wonderful holiday in Dunedin at this condo. It was an oasis in the middle of a busy area but we had trees, shade, wildlife everyday, wonderful views and it was close to everything we wanted to do. The restaurants were great - especially Cafe Alfresco where we ate special meals. The beaches were close and so beautiful. We saw dolphins and pelicans and turtles and birds of every kind. One of our party was nearly blind, so having everything on one floor made life much easier for her, and the washer and dryer were great. The Pinellas trail was just across the road so Tom could go biking every day. Unfortunately the bikes provided were not in good shape, but a local business sold him a bike and bought it back when we left. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Just Great

We enjoyed this historical home walkway to town every morning. The condo was lovely. Only complaint was from the guest room where you could hear the water fountain all night. We had a plumbing problem in the guest bath where washer/dryer were also located. Owner rectified it right away. Owner very pleasant to deal with.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
