The OB Budget Beach House is a great vacation home for families on a budget. The location is excellent, 3.5 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to 'Main Street.' The bungalow is nice yet cozy, it features 2 small bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and the other with a twin-over-double bunk bed. Recent upgrades include new kitchen cabinets with granite counter tops, new tile and hardwood flooring, contemporary furnishings, a deck and one off-street parking space. House also offers complimentary use of a beach cruiser bicycle.

Ocean Beach: Location, location, location! This bungalow is located in an ideal neighborhood which is a nice 5 minute walk to the beach, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle/congestion of the immediate beach area. Enjoy off-street parking along with ample additional street parking.

The sands of Ocean Beach (OB) are a pleasant 5 minute walk from your front door. At Ocean Beach you can enjoy an eclectic group of people, shops, restaurants, bars, antique stores, or just sit back and watch the surfers catch waves at the OB pier. Stroll down to Sunset Cliffs and enjoy enchanting views where you might even be lucky enough to see passing Whales!

Families can enjoy our close proximity to Sea World, which is only a 5 minute drive. If you want to catch some of the San Diego nightlife, the Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego features hundreds of dining and entertainment options. The Gaslamp district is a 7-10 minute drive from Ocean Beach.

Activities: If you are looking for activities on your vacation, Ocean Beach is Conveniently located within 15 minutes of major attractions including the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Museums, Old Town, Sea World, Kayaking, Petco Park, Qualcomm Stadium, La Jolla Cove, hiking, surfing,golfing, boating and miles of sandy beaches.

OB Budget Beach House-LOVED IT!

We absolutely LOVED staying here for Christmas. Super cute and clean. Just a few minutes from everywhere-especially the beach! Pet friendly-our 195 pound Great Dane was comfortable and enjoyed laying in front of the "fireplace". The only way to truly appreciate a location is to live like the locals do-this one delivers.

The house is cute as a button, finishes were high-end with granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. The house was stocked with everything we needed and location was ideal, you can walk everywhere in Ocean Beach from this location.

A wonderful surprise! The place is exactly as shown. It was clean and well maintained. When I inquired if some kitchen items were there to cook my Thanksgiving dinner, without hesitation I was assured that if not they would be provided by the time I got there. Also, when one bike was missing it was delivered a few hrs later. They really made every effort to make the stay pleasant and they succeeded. The heater in the living room surprisingly warmed up the whole place. Oh, I can't forget the master bed-it was heated! Loved it! The location is within walking distance or a quick bike ride to everything. The farmers market is worth checking out on Wed. I recommend the Pizza Port which is close by--yummy. If the neighborhood market is too pricey, the Vons supermarket is a short drive from the rental. I will recommend this place to family & friends.

I stayed here last week with my family, cute house, great location, very well stocked. We loved riding the beach cruisers! The house was really nice and tempurpedic bed was amazing!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Thank you for letting us rent your place by the beach! We were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was (when we booked the "Budget Beach House," we were not expecting such a well appointed house, especially granite countertops, a plasma TV, and free use of beach crusiers!) We though the location was perfect, and the price couldn't be beat! Thank you for being so responsive to our emails and phone calls, we plan to return at least once a year!
