'Trillium' at RIVERWALK...Private, Cozy AND Immaculate! Spend a weekend or a week in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Great location for every season of the year!
Each of our cabins, Trillium & Morning Glory, provide a large, private, 6-person hot tub just outside the door. Sit in one of the front porch rockers to enjoy the view of the Cane River and the horses in the pasture along the rivers border. At night, look up and be amazed by the abundant number of stars in the sky like you've never seen before.
What would a mountain cabin be without the scent and warmth of a wood burning fireplace? Each of our cabins has a wood burning fireplace. We provide free and unlimited wood for our guests so you can enjoy cozy fires all day and all night, if you'd like.
If you demand comfort and ease while away from home, you'll find it here! Each kitchen is equipped as if it were our own for year round use. We also provide a starter supply of coffee, tea, hot cocoa and related supplies (sweetners & creamer) so you can arrive late, if necessary, and without feeling pressure to immediately run out for supplies. Tissue & toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap, dish soap, laundry soap, iron, blow dryer...it's all there. If you need something out of the ordinary, let us know. Chances are we can make it available. Once you check in we want you to sit back and relax.
Comfort, we demand it and so should you! Every guest will rest well in our beds. Our mattresses are all Simmons Beautyrest and guests continue to give our beds the highest marks. Each cabin sleeps up to 6 guests. The master bedroom has a queen bed while the loft bedroom upstairs provides guests the option of either 2 twin beds or a king. Simply specify your preference when booking the reservation. Each of the 2-floors has a full size bathroom. The sleeper sofa in the living area will sleep 2 additional guests. A porta crib is available upon request.
Wireless internet, telephone with unlimited long distance and the best cable package Direct TV has to offer is all included with our cabins.
Get out and see the surrounding area or stay on the property for your entire vacation (which is what many repeat guests enjoy doing). All the property surrounding our cabins is family owned and available for exploration by our guests. The neighboring barn and horse riding arena are owned by Laura's parents, Paul & Judi Ewing (the original Riverwalk cabin owners). For a small fee, guests may now book time with Judi and her horses. Kids especially get a kick out of learning how to care for and groom a horse.
Two private, family owned, riverside parks are available for guest use as well. Between these two parks guests can enjoy river tubing, a youth zip line, built-in swimming pool, fabulous trout fishing, a LARGE fire pit and a covered picnic pavilion with grill. Did I mention how fabulous our parks are for outdoor events? Weddings, family reunions, birthdays??? Yes, FABULOUS!!
2-wheel drive vehicles are usually adequate to get to and from the cabins to the state road. If you have any difficulty whatsoever, we live just around the corner and are available to help you 24/7.
