The Ledgerock Inn was an absolutely great place for our family (three daughters & their families) to spend an extended weekend together on the Great North Shore. Easy access to sking, hiking, a day trip to wolf preserve in Ealy and close to several great local restaurants as well. The home was clean, well maintained, beautiful, comfortable,on a beautiful setting and it accomodated our family as well. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. We loved it and will definitely be back again!!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! It perfectly accommodated out family. It was really cold so we didn't venture outside too much but did make the walk to the pebble beach once. Since my mom was not able to come with us, we may have to book again in the new year.
The only issue was the lack of a good internet connection. We had 6 young adults and cold weather...they wanted to get online ;) My sister had brought work and was not able to do it...not all bad but she was on call.
This is a long overdue thank you for allowing us to rent your Lake Superior house back in July. We all loved being in your beautiful house with its spectacular view of the lake. It accommodated all of us very nicely. I'd recommend it in a second. We did have some problems using our cell phones and internet but I think I didn't mind as it allowed us more time together as a family and less glued separately to tiny screens. I also liked the near deserted pebble beaches that are about a 10 minute walk in either direction from the house. Our family enjoyed the large open living space that included the kitchen, dinner room and living room. Great space for meals and games together. Thanks again.
This home is gorgeous with a FABULOUS view of Lake Superior. There were 10 of us altogether - we had a great time laughing, shopping in Two Harbors & visiting a few local parks.
We were disappointed, however, to see that the home didn't have more 'personal touches' to it - (ex: more pictures on the walls, better sheets & towels, more bedding for the people that slept on the pull out couch, as well as Kleenex - to give it a more 'homey' feel).
All in all a good time was had by all.
Gorgeous home right on Superior. Rained both days so we didn't get a chance to hike or be outside. The linens were scarce and old no pillows and throw in living room, only one hairdryer in place...for 5 women was a challenge. But we had a good time!
This is a lovely and comfortable house with stunning views of Lake Superior. It was the perfect place for the annual excursion of our 4 couple book club. There were good places to gather as a group, and plenty of room to spread out in smaller groups or for individual activities. The weather even cooperated, and we were able to sit out on the screened porch for our book discussion. Highly recommended.
