Old Saybrook House Rental Photos and Description
1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4
Rustic one room seasonal beach bungalow, 100 feet from the ocean.
Built in the 1930's, The Tiny House is a throw-back to the earlier days of beach goers, where most of the day was spent outdoors, and the room was used solely for changing. Today, the bungalow has been converted to SLEEP 4, with such amenities as air conditioning, flat screen cable tv, internet service, large hot water outdoor shower, gas grill, comfortable beds and a snug, cozy atmosphere.
Quiet and uncongested, this small family-friendly Great Hammock Beach community boasts a private association beach, private boat launch, fishing, boating, swimming, crabbing, kayaking, jet skiing, and just plain old relaxing. The unique tidal change exposes a mile of sandbars, ideal for children to swim and play, or to wander in search of seashells.(click below for more information.)
Bring your bicycles for a breathtaking ride along the ocean to Saybrook Point for a round of mini golf or a lobster roll at Johnny Ad's seafood. Then browse the many specialty shops on our historic Main St, or take in a matinee at the popular Katharine Hepburn Theatre.
Easy access to Mystic Seaport & Aquarium, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos, outlet shopping and several area golf courses.
