Every house has a story, and the journey of the Storey Place begins in 1928 as my great-grandfather’s farmstead and family home. After a full remodel, we are writing new chapters for this house – adding all the modern conveniences, maximizing living space with an open floor plan and furnishing with all new stainless-steel appliances, while at the same time preserving the charm of the home and restoring original pieces like the home’s clawfoot tub, original hard-wood floors and shiplap walls.
The house sits on seven quiet, peaceful acres with a back-porch view of our vegetable and flower garden, depending on the time of year. It is easily accessible from I-85 (<5 miles) and located 25 minutes from Athens, 50 minutes from Atlanta and within an hour drive of 9 beautiful Georgia state parks! There are many local excursions and boutique shopping in Jefferson.

The house is full of windows and natural light streaming in during the day and equipped with room darkening shades in the bedrooms for restful sleep. Enjoy sitting on the back porch.
