Great experience in this home. Good location, easy access to local activities. Great for kayaking!

We spent a week in this home and wished we had rented for 2 weeks. Queen bed was more comfortable than my own w/large closet. The area is so rich with things to do besides the beach. We brought 2 quiet water kayaks and had a fantastic time with them everywhere we could, even on Assateague Island (DO NOT SKIP GOING THERE). If you have a family, the house has a perfect layout, with 2 bedrooms on one end of the house and the master br on the other with it's own private bath. We kayaked right off the deck, where there was a tributary leading to bigger water. Plenty of fishing to be had, though there wasn't enough time! Right in back of house there were Green Heron and other birds we could not quite identify. Rehobeth area, though almost an hour away, offers some interesting things for kids; however, there was free entertainment right in Fenwick Island at the Freeman Stage every night. Hit the farmer's market twice in 1 week and found a Health Food store in W. Bethany. The Delaware Shore State Park has wonderful things to offer too, but sign up early! Boogie boarding was great, at least one day. My only problem was the water in the house was sulfuric (I'm allergic) so after one uncomfortable day I bought bottled water for drinking. But that was the ONLY small discomfort in this very clean and adequate house..which we spent so little time in. We hope to rent here again in the future.
