We are two families that are long-time friends and co-workers. Between us we have kids ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers, and we love to travel to the Asheville area. We have rented a number of the available properties, but wanted to find the ideal spot... so we decided to create it ourselves. If we weren't busy working (as environmental engineers, a Realtor/former NASA flight operations engineer, and an author) we'd be fighting over which family would get to move in full-time!
Jason Graves purchased this house in 2013
We searched for over a year to find what we thought would be the ideal vacation home and vacation rental. When we found this home, we immediately saw the potential. After undergoing an extensive renovation completed in 2014, it is everything we were looking for: multiple master bedrooms, great views, completely modernized amenities, and ideal convenience to all that the Asheville area has to offer.
Key benefits of Tree Tops are:
- multiple master bedrooms with en-suite baths
- treehouse-like architecture
- circular, walk-around indoor fireplace
- three levels of decks/outdoor living space
- walls of windows and unique corner windows
- easy all-paved access to a major freeway
- high speed internet and cell coverage (rare for mountain properties)
We felt so welcomed and relaxed. It was a wonderful time! My favorite part was the showers! Thank you for helping us experience such a great weekend!
Amazing views. Ample room. Lovely decor. Fabulous location. Felt like home. We were 10 adults and 6 children enjoying a family reunion and everything that Asheville has to offer. Could not have made a better choice.
Staying at The Treetops was a wonderful experience! It looked just like the pictures which made us feel at home right away! We had everything we needed. My husband and I brought our two grown children, their spouses, and our 5 grandchildren. They loved the game room downstairs! It was like their own floor because they played and slept there. The bathroom is huge which was really great! The adults had plenty of room to gather on the main floor and plenty of sleeping space! We also enjoyed an evening by the fire pit to roast marshmallows and hot dogs. We visited the Biltmore House, went hiking by Powhatan Lake, ate dinner in downtown Asheville, and traveled down memory lane showing my grandchildren where I grew up. My 10 year grandson said, " It was the funnest vacation ever!" To me it was another beautiful memory with my family!! Thank you Jason and owners for sharing your beautiful mountain treasure!
We stayed here for my bachelorette party and the house couldn't have been more perfect. There were six of us girls and we had plenty of space. The house was absolutely amazing and was fully equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated so nice and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and has plenty of seating. Jason is AMAZING to work with. He was very responsive when we reached out to him and super easy to work with. I would HIGHLY recommend renting Tree Tops. The view is amazing but also super close to downtown so its the best of both worlds! Definitely a weekend I will never forget!!
We stayed here for my friend's bachelorette weekend and were incredibly impressed with the house. Everything is in perfect condition and the owners thought of everything that visitors might want/need. They were also so incredibly helpful throughout the process. There was an ice storm a couple days before we were schedule to arrive and the owner came out to ensure that the roads were safe for us. I also left a few belongings and the owner volunteered to send them to me free of charge. I highly recommend this house to any and everyone thinking of visiting Asheville.
What a beautiful spot. The house was a joy to spend time in, especially as a big group, and the views from the mountain top were spectacular. Plus, it was only a 10 minute drive to downtown Asheville. When we return back to the area, we'll definitely be staying here again!
We had the chance to spend Valentine's day on this property and we can just say this is one of the best places we have ever stayed at! We were 5 families (12 people) and we all agreed this house was even better than what's shown in the pictures; the house has everything we needed (in fact, we try to find something we could argue about but the only thing missing on the house was some detergent, which of course was not supposed to be part of the house but since there was EVERYTHING on it, that's the only thing we would not find! :)) The beds were fantastic, the kitchen was very well stocked up with everything needed, plenty of storage space, plenty of separate areas for different people to find their own private area, secluded but very easy to access from main highway and very close to the city, yet outside the hustle and bustle. The communication with the owner was perfect, always accessible, prompt to answer concerns and questions and clear process for check in and check out. This property is very very well kept and I would consider it on my top from all the several properties I have rented. Great place and highly recommended.
