View the dolphin, manatee and bird watch from the comforts of your home. The main living area has seating for 8 (including two comfy recliners), large 46 inch Samsung flat screen TV, blue ray DVD and multigame table. Cook fabulous meals in the updated fully stocked kitchen featuring GE Elite appliances, granite counter tops, custom cabinets and many accessories. Enjoy those meals while watching the sunset from the large dining area with seating for six. This expansive Townhome was recently updated with bright happy beach décor and family fun in mind. The first guest room has two comfy twin beds with luxury resort mattresses and bedding (that can be converted into full king bed), iPod player, large flat screen LG TV and DVD for late night movies. The second guest bedroom has a large queen sized bed with luxury resort mattress and bedding, iPod player and a large flat screen LG TV. The entire upper level is a large private master suite with some gulf views featuring a king sized bed, iPod player, large flat screen TV, comfortable reading rocker, double walk-in closet, a large master bathroom with 2 person spa tub, separate glassed shower and granite counters.
Enjoy the best of both worlds in this complex which stretches from Ocean to Bay with boat dockage and a large tropical heated pool in your back yard. Enjoy the island’s peace and quiet by joining many visitors who leave the car at home and walk to the many Village restaurants and shops. Step out of your front door and in 30 steps walk directly onto the over 5 miles of white powdery sandy beaches of Captiva Island. Stroll to the back bay for even better fishing and see even more wild life. Shaded outdoor private dinning table and seating under the entrance area can also be moved into the open sunlight for meals with gulf views as well. Don't struggle with spotty cell coverage, we have free clear land line calling in the entire US and Canada. The home also has high end beach chairs, umbrellas, rolling cooler and even beach toys for the kids.

The Villa is on pilings providing unique with awe inspiring direct gulf views and amazing sunsets, as well as sunrise views over the bay, sitting on over 3 acres of land shared by only 20 other Villas. The property includes exclusive access to over 380 feet of Gulf beach frontage, deep-water direct access boating, lush landscaping, and a large tropical pool, all shared by only 20 other Villas. This home is almost 2000 sq. ft. with three large bedrooms and two and a half baths. The beach and ocean are less than 30 steps from the house. The Villa is less than 10 minutes walking distance by beach or road to Captiva Village's many shops and restaurants.
Treasures to be experienced include ; spectacular white powdery sand beaches scattered with pastel colored seashells and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. Captiva is one of the few islands literally made up of shells created over thousands of years, and one of the places considered best in the world for shelling. There is a large tropical pool as well as a deep water access boat dock on the property. There are superb restaurants & shopping in the Village which are walking distance from the Villa. Golfing, tennis, fishing, boating, biking and all types of children's activities are available in this small slice of paradise. From the end of Sanibel the beach stretches 5 miles to the northern tip of Captiva Island at Redfish Pass. Captiva Drive is a road with giant cactus, colorful bougainvilleas and other tropical vegetation along a stretch of sea and sand ending at “Captiva Village”. It will remind you of a small lush island in the Caribbean.
We stayed in this lovely house with my mother and 2 kids and it was perfect. The position is great....walked over to the beach everyday and loved just chilling! The views are fantastic...really cant be beaten as other houses just didnt have the full view we had.
The house was lovely....really easy and enough space for all of us.
There is a fab clean pool behind the house that was a godsend...kids loved going in here after the beach or when in was too hot...never crowded and really handy.
Dan who we dealt with was a dream...really helpful and very nice to speak to.

I cannot say enough about this property! My family and I (4 of us total) stayed for a week in early October. It was more than enough room for us. We were looking for a quiet, secluded, non-touristy type of place, and we hit the jackpot with Sea Dreams. The home has all the kitchen essentials (plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, food storage containers, and even an array of spices), beach towels, linens, etc. There was even leftover laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, etc. from the previous guest so make sure you check in and take an inventory before you go to the grocery, which is a relaxing and scenic 15 minute drive from the home. There were TV's in every room and an abundance of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, and a cooler. The weather was sunny and 80-90 degrees all week and we were even able to get in the ocean. There were only a couple other families on the beach, and only 1 other family using the pool, so we basically had everything to ourselves. The keyless entry took the hassle out of checking in. There are tons of local restaurants, live music, and little shops. You have to go to the Bubble Room for dessert - it is a MUST! The bed upstairs was a little firm for my taste, but I was still able to sleep well. The owner was incredibly easy to work with as well. The walk to the beach was as easy as crossing 1 street and you're right there on the beach - less than a 30 second walk. One thing to note - prices at the grocery down here are very expensive, so bring whatever you can from home if you want to keep your costs down. A couple minor things were broken, such as the spice rack and a beach umbrella, but nothing that interfered with our vacation. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.
This house is the perfect place to stay when visiting Captiva. The house is updated and tastefully decorated; well maintained and impeccably clean!!! The location is perfect. You are steps from the beach out front with sunsets you can view from your couch, and the pool is right behind you. You are also within walking distance to almost anything in the heart of Captiva; shopping, dining, recreation. I can't say enough about how great this rental is. We will definitely stay here again!!!! Thanks for a great vacation!
I stayed here with my husband and we had an amazing time. The Townhome is lovely, spacious, clean and very updated. It had everything we needed from beautiful furniture to updated appliances. We really miss looking at the ocean while having breakfast, as well as the magnificent sunsets that Captiva is known for. This review would not be complete without mentioning the owner, Dan. We've rented several vacation homes, but never came across an owner as caring and pleasant as Dan. He really goes the extra mile to make sure you enjoy every second of your stay in his home. This was the second vacation villa that we rented from Dan. Last year we stayed at Dan's other Captiva property, Sunset Dreams, and we just booked our 2015 summer vacation with him!
This villa has one of the best locations on the island, with plenty of bedrooms and nice, updated decor. The enclosed front room, with the option to open the doors to the ocean breeze, is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the ocean.
This was our family's first time renting on Captiva and in every way, this property and location exceeded our expectations. The unit is absolutely adorable with stunning, direct view of the Gulf of Mexico from the Living Room.
We found the unit to be extremely clean and well-kept with all of the beach-life necessities to make a vacation truly enjoyable. We especially liked the updated decor and furnishings, amoire filled with family games, deluxe beach chairs and high-end technoligies (flat screen tvs, wi-fi, Iphone/pad docking stations, etc.). What truly made this property remarkable was the extended living area in the front of the unit. Other comparable units have a screened in porch, which takes away from actual livable space.
Every part of our stay here was perfect — we recommend without hesitation!
