The Cove Cottage sleeps 10 + and has 2 1/2 baths and an outdoor shower. There is an open style kitchen/great room with 18’ ceilings. The dock accomodates 2 boats. There are mountain bikes as well as canoes and kayaks to explore the area. The house and deck have views of the river and sunsets. By the water there is a calm wading beach and a sundeck. Over 8 acres of rolling lawns for games and camping.

Measuring 7 miles long by 3 miles wide, Grindstone is the 4th largest island out of the 1800 that span the region. 45% of Grindstone has been preserved, providing scenic woodlands and pastoral landscapes full of wildlife and views waiting to be discovered. You will need a boat to access the island. If you do not own a boat, we can provide information on boat rentals.
