2800 square foot main house (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms) with optional 400 square foot studio (2 beds, 1 bath, additional full kitchen).
Main house is 15 years new with gourmet kitchen including spacious island with gas cooktop, double ovens, large LG fridge. Master bedroom and bath are 400+ square feet and include king bed, 42' flatscreen TV, hardwood floor, large bay windows looking out onto a beautiful Monterey Bay Cyprus tree, master bath includes separate toilet, spa tub, enclosed shower, 2 separate sinks and vanities, large mirrors.
Two additional upstairs bedrooms include one with a queen bed and one with 2 twin beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub/shower combination and vanity with 2 sinks.
Downstairs bedroom includes twin daybed with trundle that pulls out to a king size bed. Bathroom with shower stall accessible to downstairs bedroom. Queen sofa sleeper in the living room available to sleep up to 2 more guests. Total sleeping capacity in main house is 8-10.
Full kitchen is open to family room with 46' flatscreen TV and large sectional sofa for relaxing after a long day at the beach. Additional living room area includes 2 sofas and chairs for reading, games, much deserved naps.
Optional studio has a king size bed and a twin sofa sleeper. Will sleep up to 3. Bathroom with shower stall. Additional complete kitchen with full size appliances including range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, table & chairs. Sitting area in studio includes a gas stove and a 32' flat screen TV.
Large flagstone back yard has raised stone beds with a built in fireplace, gas grill and sink. Ample cozy outdoor seating for alfresco meals and sitting around the fire. A mature oak tree, Japanese maple tree, and pine tree give the back yard a lush ambience. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water is perfect for rinsing off after at day the beach or surfing.
There is an alley behind the property. The garage and the studio face the alley. The house comes with one legal off-street parking space on driveway off the alley. There is plenty of legal street parking on the Phelan Court cul-de-sac. Nearby Lighthouse and Laguna streets also have legal parking accessible via the alley. (This area does not have permit parking for the coastal homes like the Eastside of Santa Cruz does.)
Enjoy walking along the cliffs of West Cliff Drive or surf at world famous Steamer Lane. Standup Paddle Boarder's paradise just outside the surf line and hang out with the otters (or get in the surf yourself).
Take a 45 minute drive to largest waves on the west coast. One of the most popular surfing spots, Mavericks is known for some of the biggest waves and wildest surfing conditions in Northern California. Every year, Mavericks hosts surfing events that draw hundreds of spectators interested in watching many of the top surfers in the world. Even on a non-event day, watching the surfers tackle the enormous waves can be exciting.

Rates are subject to change until full payment is received, signed contract is returned and reservation is confirmed. Security/damage deposit of $3000 is due 3 weeks prior to arrival.
Reservation confirmed after payment is received & signed contract is returned. Studio rental is not included in the $5749 price/wk for main house; rented for additional charge of $2000/wk. A $3000 reservation payment is required if booking prior to 90 days. The $300/pet fee is not refundable and payable at time of $3000 damage deposit. Full payment required 90 days prior to arrival.
