Welcome to Black Bear Cabin. We hope you love the cabin and the area as much as we do.

Located in the heart of Maggie Valley less than 2 miles from the Maggie Valley festival grounds and shopping, this home has all you need for a great getaway. Enjoy time in front of the gas log fireplace, sitting on the deck, or around the fire pit creating memories you won't forget. Enjoy year around mountain views while being located in a small gated community. The property has everything you need for a great stay with a fully stocked kitchen, games and books, comfortable furnishings, an office, and WIFI. Close to area attractions and the shops of Maggie Valley with great restaurants and activities like Wheels Through Time, skiing, hiking, and putt putt golf. You are about a 45 minute drive from Asheville and Cherokee and 5 miles away from an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The Black Bear Cabin sleeps 6 with 2 nice size bedrooms (1 queen and 2 double beds) and 2 baths. Enjoy the 2 story gas log fireplace in the family room with access to the screen porch with swing and deck with a grill. Covered parking for 1 to 2 cars off the front porch and it is pet friendly. Fire pit with chairs complete the experience.

County maintained roads to the neighborhood with paved roads inside the small gated community for an easy drive to the cabin.

Please note there is a $75 per visit Pet fee. Failure to declare your pet before check in will result in a $250 extra cleaning fee.

Wonderful stay

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. The gated community was quiet and perfect for our family. The road leading up to the cabin was a little steep, but easy access to turn around if needed is above the cabin. We loved the location close to Soco Rd to access all that Maggie Valley has to offer. We had an issue with the ac/heater and Scott was absolutely wonderful at getting it resolved quickly for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Christmas in Black Bear Cabin

Black Bear Cabin was just right for us at Christmas. The cabin is nicely decorated, the kitchen has anything you need and the views are amazing. We cooked, relaxed, played games, read and enjoyed the fireplace. It is close to everything to do in the area. We would highly recommend Black Bear Cabin.
