QUIET NEWLY RENOVATED GETAWAY ON THE WILD DUNES LINKS COURSE

The home was beautiful and met all of our vacation wants and needs. It is spacious, clean, well-maintained and it was wonderful using the fully updated kitchen. The owner was very responsive and even called to check on us to ensure that our stay was going well.

The town home is only a five minute walk to the beach and we spent many days just relaxing and swimming. It was very peaceful and daily we would see the local wildlife. In the morning we would walk along the beach and watch the dolphins play on the waves, we observed the local sea turtle rescue organization move turtle eggs found on the beach, although we never saw the turtles, it was interesting. At night we would watch the deer come in and feed on the grass directly across from the town home and we even observed an alligator on the greens at the golf course just south of the home. Don't worry though, they are really not interested in humans but it is always a good idea to stay far away.

I would recommend visiting the local plantations. We visited Middleton Place, Magnolia Gardens and Drayton Hall. If I had to pick one, I would pick Middleton Place but it is really a toss up between Middleton Place and Magnolia Gardens because we really enjoyed the nature train at Magnolia Gardens. We loved walking around Downtown Charleston, the city is filled with so much history. Downtown we ate at Virginia's (great food, not the greatest service) and King Street Grille (great service, okay food). We did a ghost tour with Old Charleston Walking Tours, Mike Brown was our tour guide and he did an awesome job not only with the ghost tour but he also shared many historical facts.

I would definitely recommend this home to my family and friends.

Property was very clean, well maintained, and the kitchen is amazing. Owner was very helpful and responsive. Lots of space inside, and is right on the golf course. The running/biking trails in Wild Dunes are perfect and the beach is just a short walk away. I reccommend renting a bike, or walking through the resort as much as possible - its a beautiful place.

We visited the acquarium downtown, as well as hit local favorites such as Jesitine's Kitchen and Hymans for dinner. Jestine's is much better, but go early.

Only thing we didnt like was no TV in the living/family room downstairs. Some folks would apprecaite that, however we are a little lazy a night and like to lay on the couch and watch some TV.

I would definitely reccommend this property and we will certainly look to visit again in the future.

My husband and I stayed Oct.12-Oct.16 and we had a fantastic time. We have stayed in the Charleston area many times before, but not at this location in Wild Dunns, Isle of Palms. We will definatly be back!!! It was so close shopping, great food, and the beach was right there.
To start the owners were easy to work with and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. When we got there we were pleasently suprised to find a whole binder full of information to help us during or stay. It lead us to one of my favorite places to eat "The Boathouse". The atmosphere at Wild Dunns golf course, which is were the condo is located is wonderful. There is wildlife right outside your door, walking paths, and beautiful scenery. Inside you will find plenty of space for relaxing as well. The condo is totally updated and with all the windows and the screened porch you will feel like you are outside enjoying the Carolina sun the whole time.
