The house is light and airy with lots of windows which provide beautiful views of the Links golf course. This is the perfect spot for golfers, families or adults who want a quiet getaway.
Wild Dunes features a private beach with a clean wide sandy shore. There are multiple restaurants and small shops throughout Wild Dunes, bicycle rental, walking paths and two golf courses: the Tom Fazio Links Course and The Harbor Course. The great thing about a vacation at Wild Dunes is that there are so many other activities in the Charleston area besides the beach. Downtown Charleston, a 25 minute drive, is a beautiful city with museums, historic homes, carriage ride tours, open air market, antique shops, the South Carolina Aquarium, and harbor tours of Fort Sumter. Outside of Charleston visit the Boone Hall Plantation, Magnolia Plantation, Middleton Place or see the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier at Patriots Point. Wild Dunes is not the only place for a golf game; there are many fine golf courses in the area and the owner will be happy to provide a list. If you are a sports fan, think about attending a Charleston Battery professional soccer game at the Daniel Island Black Baud stadium or a tennis match at Family Circle Tennis Center also on Daniel Island. When you get hungry from all the sightseeing there are many wonderful restaurants, specializing in seafood and Low Country cooking.
