Secluded Ocean View Retreat

Some homes have an outsized effect on people and gatherings and this home is one of them. The beautiful floors, the spacious rooms, the comfortable furnishings, the kitchen that just begs to be used (!), the location up and away - all make you happy to be there after your day at the beach, touring Volcano, or hiking down into the Waipio Valley. It has such a wonderful feel to it, that you don't mind hanging out there some of the time rather than touring the island. The owners provide every beach toy, food storage container, media technology, and cooking vessel you'll want. Previous guests have left many foods and cooking ingredients. The house is within 10 minutes of a wonderfully relaxing family beach and two ancient Hawaiian temples, a health food store and two large grocery stores, and several good restaurants. It's very quiet! It would be incredibly easy to stay here indefinitely.

We arrived home yesterday after two weeks on the Big Island. The first week we stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations Wikoloa Resort. A wonderful EXPENSIVE week with LOTS OF PEOPLE. For example, it costs $15 a day just to park your car! I'm telling you this because our second week at this house was the BEST DEAL ever! Before checking in to this rental, we stopped at Costco (Five minutes from the airport) and picked up our weeks groceries. Huge savings from eating out and shopping locally. The house is FABULOUS! Not enough I can say about this place. So grand, peaceful, spacious, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. You know it's a class act by the expensive soaps that are provided in each bathroom! Five minutes from the best snorkeling ever. So many beaches with hardly anyone there! Recommend Spencer Beach! The elevation at the house overlooks the fantastic coastline. 10 degrees cooler than the coast which is sooooo comfortable. The cooing doves in the early eve and AM is wonderful. Partridges scampering across the property. The sunsets are to die for! Best of all, if you are really looking for a RELAXING vacation, away from the hustle and bustle of work, then you need to secure this place for a week or more. This was our best vacation ever. NOTE: Bring an underwater camera! Sea Turtles and so many species of tropical fish to see! Thank you so much Bill and Linda.

Before getting to Big Island we had great expectations because the photos of the house were showing a beautiful villa but when we arrive we discovered a spectacular house that no picture could portray but only human eyes can appreciate.
The landscape that sorrounds the house is stunning and the atmosphere that one can enjoy is peaceful and very relaxing.
Finding the house has been very easy because the owners provided us precise and accurate directions.
They gave us a lot of advice and information to plan in advance our stay at Big island as well as a welcome book very useful and well done.
We found in the house every kind of confort as well as an equipped kitchen besides spices, drinks and other basic ingredients for cooking.
Every room were perfectly clean, the garden and the porch were a real paradise.
We especially appreciated the location of the house since it's near to the best beaches and to the huge attractions of the island such as Mauna Kea Astronomic Observatory.
In our opinion it's possible to visit every site of the island without need to spend a night somewhere else.
We do recommend this house to every one!
