Good Oceanfront Value

This unit was as expected from the descriptions and photos. It was comparable to other units we have rented at other resorts along Napili Bay- not really up to date but comfortable and homey. What sets this one apart is the location oceanfront to the tidepools at Napili Point and adjacent to the Gazebo Restaurant. As others suggested, we phoned in our breakfast order for pancakes and fried rice which we then ate on our lanai. During our stay, the swells were larger than normal so the sounds were really coming into the unit. Yes, you are that close to the ocean! We limited the sound by closing the lanai door and only having the window open. We thought having a table, four chairs and two loungers on the lanai made it too cluttered. We found personal items on the floor from a previous guest when we arrived so the housekeeper could have done a better job. We also found the provided beach chairs to be subpar. Overall, it was a good place and represented good oceanfront value.

We thorougly enjoyed out condo stay. The view was out of this world, the condo clean and comfortable
and the bed was really wonderful. We would unconditionally refer people to this unit.

Can Oceanfront on Maui every be anything but awesome?

Ivars place is always the best you can get on Maui. That view is second to none. We have been staying there for at least 15 years and we keep going back, and we always will. I would love to buy them a recliner or some thing because the furniture is a little uncomfortable, but thats just nitpicking.

Enoyable visit, incredible vista

The condo was as described and was clean and relatively well kept. Be aware there is NO wifi in the condo, only a wired connection. Decorations and ambiance were basic but nice. Bed was comfortable.You can't beat the location and view, and the adjacent Napili Bay is very nice and generally not as busy as Kaanapali along hotel row. The Waterworks Sports store on site was very handy, helpful, friendly and competitively priced (heard someone say less expensive than Boss Frog's). You've GOTTA have breakfast at The Gazebo, it's worth the wait. I would rent this condo again for the price an location.

Beautiful view, private, studio condo!

We stayed in I272 condo in July of 2012 and throughly enjoyed it. The ocean and sunset views are great, and it's second floor location gave it nice privacy, with little foot traffic below. The condo is well equipped with beach towels, kitchen implements, boogie boards, and free wired internet (wireless not available due to distance from repeater). It's a great size for two, but would be cramped for more. The kitchen is small, but functional. The unit was clean and well maintained.
We would definitely stay there again.
