Not really luxury. Left rather disappointed.
Location and neighbourhood was good. Kitchen had everything you need. Property size excellent. Communication with the property owner before our arrival was great.
Issues highlighted to the management company. Patio doors were filthy. One of the showers had not been cleaned. Rug in the living room had dirt on and under it. Lots of dust about. Pool table had numerous small holes in it already and large marks on one of the cushions despite warnings of the costs there would be if any damage was caused. . pool cues had no tips. Screen by pool broken. Pool side chair broken. Pool was cold. There were other issues I feel were not accurately reflected in the property description but I will stop there.
The management company stated that they were aware of most of the issues however they never offered to send anyone over the rectify the cleaning. We were told you can buy tips for the cues at Walmart. Why should we repair and pay for something that should have been addressed properly before we arrived. We had already cleaned. The main issue was the pool. We assumed the pool may take a couple of days to heat up. Day three and it was still cold so we contacted the management company. They assured us that the heating was on but would come over and check. Despite my sister being there when they did they never spoke to her. Two further days passed and the pool was still cold. Further conversation with the property management who stated the heater must be broken as it was and this was down to the owner who they would contact. We never heard anything back from them.
The main reasons for booking this property were the games room and the swimming pool. If we knew the pool would not be heated we would never have booked this property. The kids did not want to use the pool as they felt it was too cold. In essence the property had no pool. Fixing this issue may be great for further guests but it should have been addressed before while we were there.
The property is listed a luxury and really it's not. It needs a lot of TLC.
