Bamboo flooring and granite counter tops grace the kitchen and floors throughout. Off the kitchen is a spacious walk in pantry, with a 20+ bottle wine shelf. Granite bar has seating for 4 and the dining room looks out over the river.

The Master bath is beautifully designed with a sauna, jet tub and shower. Private balcony off the master bedroom. Ceiling fans in every room, as well as surround sound throughout.

The Billiard room has a flat screen TV, liquor bar with mini fridge and ice maker.

There is ample outdoor space for barbecue, lounging (sun or shade) and there is a fire pit, for those wanting to spend the night out under the stars.

About Therese and Joe Cotton

Therese and Joe have been partners for the past 5 years. Before they met in Florida, Joe was living in Naperville IL, and working at his Ford dealership in Carol Stream, IL. Therese grew up in Southern California before moving to Cape Coral in 1992. Therese and Joe both have enjoyed living in Florida, where the weather is warm, the skies are blue and the waterways lead to sandy beaches and promising fishing spots. They enjoy traveling, gardening (they have over 20 pineapples currently growing on their own property) and spending time with our family and friends. My wife and I, along with our best friends, have vacationed in many great Home Away properties in the last twenty years. The Penthouse was absolutely fabulous. The view, furnishings, and owners,Therese and Joe, were the best. Sitting on the deck overlooking the water or spending a few hours at the pool and hot tub were great. Joe and Therese were sincere in their request that if we needed anything during our stay just ask and they would take care of it, and they did. Their recommendation of Merrick Seafood Market and Restaurant was right on. We are already looking forward to staying here again next year.

The Penthouse is located beside Jaycee Park, off Beach Parkway. The park runs along the Caloosahatchee River. Cape Coral offers something for everyone. If you love seafood, Cape Coral has some of the freshest seafood anywhere. The family owned and operated Red’s Fresh Seafood is the sister location to Red’s Fresh Seafood House and Tavern on Pine Island Road. Fish Tale Grill by Merrick Seafood was recently opened this past summer. (It is run by the owner’s of Merricks Seafood on 47th Ter). The Lobster Lady Seafood Market is Cape Coral’s Premier Seafood Market and Bistro. As you see, there are many restaurants to choose from and I have just named a few in the area. For outdoor entertainment, check out Rumrunner's Tuesday Night Block Party featuring live music, and also every Friday night at The Joint. If you love country music, Dixie Roadhouse is the place for you! It's located in downtown Cape Coral.

For fresh produce visit the Cape Coral Farmers Market Downtown, for community fresh, local produce (& some Certified Organic produce, as well). Open every Saturday 8am-1pm. Another location for fresh produce is Farmers Market at Cape Harbour, each Saturday morning from 8am - noon. And on Tuesday's visit the Farmer's Market at the Shops at Surfside between 3pm-8pm. These are just some of the pleasures of vacationing in sunny SW Cape Coral.

Aside from our local attractions, there is another popular attraction located on Sanibel Island, which is 20 miles from Cape Coral. The J. N. 'Ding' Darling National Wildlife Refuge is located on the subtropical barrier island of Sanibel, in the Gulf of Mexico. This refuge is part of the largest undeveloped mangrove ecosystem in the United States. It is world famous for its spectacular migratory bird populations. Be sure to bring along your camera for some spectacular photo ops of both the native Floridian birds and the very cool sea life.

Ft Myers Beach is another popular destination, as well as Lover's Key, which is located at 8700 Estero Blvd, as you pass through Ft Myers beach.
