My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful apartment in July 2014. We found it to be bright, comfortable, and spacious, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was excellent, with handy shopping, and the best empanadas in town right on the corner. Just a quick walk to the subway, which will take you anywhere in the city for 5 pesos. Perhaps the highlight of our trip was getting to meet the apartments owner, Flor. Knowledgeable and bubbly, she was able to give us all sorts of information about her beloved city, and was always available for help or advice. We felt like we were visiting a favorite sister! When we return to BA, we look forward to another visit!
My girlfriend and I stayed in Flor’s apartment for a week in November and had a fantastic time. The apartment is in a great location making it just a short walk to the Palermo subway station and the numerous restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.
The apartment itself was a great place to relax and was a nice, cozy home base for us to explore Buenos Aires. Another added bonus was that unlike many of the other places we stayed in Argentina, the wifi was fast and reliable. As hosts, Flor and her mom Ana (who met us when we arrived because Flor was traveling for work) were both so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They were very flexible with our arrival and departure from the airport, gave us good recommendations for places in the neighborhood, and were so friendly and warm. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it!
I just spent a month in Buenos Aires and I had the time of my life! So first of all, the location is perfect. The apartment is located about 10 minutes away (walking) from Ave. Santa Fe, one of BA’s main streets. Here you you can do lots of shopping, find plenty of restaurants and you can also catch a bus or take the subway to any other part of the city. The botanical garden, the zoo and countless other attractions are all situated along this main street. 15 minutes away walking the other direction, you are in the heart of the Palermo Soho, which has plenty of trendy boutiques and great restaurants. This is also where the nightlife happens with a lot of nice bars and chic clubs. The artisan fairs of Plaza Serrano and Plaza Armenia are also held in this area on the weekends. The great thing about the apartment is that it is so close to everything but since it is situated on a quiet residential block it was still very peaceful. It is located in nice, quiet, secure building. At the end of the block you have two fresh fruit stores, a bakery, a full service laundromat, a small market where you can get all the essentials and a 24-hour kiosk for late night snacks. The apartment itself was very clean, well furnished and had everything I needed to live comfortably for a full month. The best part was that I had the pleasure to meet Flor. She is a very nice, sweet and charming host. My first weekend there she took me on a nighttime bike tour of the city and we hung out several times after that. She is a BA native and loves her city so it was great to get such an introduction to BA. She had plenty of great recommendations and was very attentive which made my stay so easy. I’m an experienced traveler and it’s hit and miss sometimes when choosing a vacation rental but I can’t say enough about this apartment. I highly recommend it.
