This cozy vacation home is situated on a 5,000 m² finca at an altitude of 900 meters. It is equipped for up to 3 people and offers a view of the Atlantic. It is an ideal spot for nature lovers and hikers. Casa 'El Almendro' (almond tree) is a detached stone house, which features 45 m² of living space, a living room with integrated kitchen, a large and a small bedroom, as well as a bathroom and WC. There is a veranda in front of the house where you can enjoy your breakfast, a meal, or a splendid view of the pristine surrounding landscape. The veranda is partially sheltered by the extended roof. The finca adheres to organic principals and is surrounded by enchanting nature. Among other things, you'll find more than 40 different types of fruit trees here, a mixed forest, dragon trees, exotic plants, and a large vegetable garden. The owners live in a separate house on the property. They are always available as your contact persons.

The municipality of Arona is one of Tenerife's richest communities. It is bordered by Vilaflor above, and Spain's highest mountain, Mount Teide. The municipality is located in the west, and administrates the island's expanding tourist area. The village of Arona is located at an altitude of 600 m and has escaped the coastal bustle. The Spanish colonial style church was constructed in 1627. It is surrounded by hundred-year-old laurel trees. Countless hiking routes are available, which are ideal for exploring the pristine nature, gorges, and pine forests. The Conde del Roque is located in Arona. It is the mountain which joins the municipality with the neighboring municipality of Adeje. The route to Mount Teide leads through the village of La Escalona to Viaflor, Spain's highest village (1,440 m). It is renowned for its terraced fields and its textiles, Vilaflor lace. The first almond trees can be found at an altitude of 800 m. They are in full bloom in January.

Hiking and Daytrips: You can take trips to the neighboring islands by boat or by airplane. The island is connected to all of the other islands by car ferry, jet, or speedboat. You can book at the harbor offices in Los Cristianos, or the ferry's offices. Regional carriers fly daily between the Canary Islands. Spring, fall and winter are the perfect seasons for hiking. The first almond trees begin to blossom in December, and the blooming landscape obtains a light pink shimmer by February. The first grapes and figs are ripe by the end of August, and hikers can refresh themselves to their heart's content on these delicious fruits. Hiking tours are marked in green.
