Hiking and Daytrips:
You can take trips to the neighboring islands by boat or by airplane. The island is connected to all of the other islands by car ferry, jet, or speedboat. You can book at the harbor offices in Los Cristianos, or the ferry's offices. Regional carriers fly daily between the Canary Islands. Spring, fall and winter are the perfect seasons for hiking. The first almond trees begin to blossom in December, and the blooming landscape obtains a light pink shimmer by February. The first grapes and figs are ripe by the end of August, and hikers can refresh themselves to their heart's content on these delicious fruits. Hiking tours are marked in green.

Golf:
Arona has an 18-hole course, 'Golf Las Americas.' The most recent course is called 'Golf Costa Adeje,' which is located in the neighboring municipality of Adeje.
