This typical Kuratau bach has been up-graded for comfort but has lost none of its original character. One queen room, bathroom, toilet, lounge, kitchen and dining in bach with the rest of the accommodation new and attached to the new large boat shed. This new building has one queen bed and a single in one room and two single beds in the other with a well-appointed bathroom in between.
The lovely deck with beautiful bush surrounding it allows for all day sun, privacy, and relaxation.
The bach is on the flat of kuratau, easy walking, and close to the river mouth.
Plenty of parking for cars and boat.
A short drive to Turangi, and not far from the ski fields, when returning home there is the benefit of a gas fire, for instant warmth.
A walkway beside the property leads directly to the lake front and public tennis courts.
Tranquil spot especially while relaxing on the sheltered deck. Easy walking distance to the lake gave our teenagers independence. Generous and caring hosts. Already dreaming of our next visit.
We arrived to find the bach spotlessly clean, warm and sunny. The sleepout was perfect for our teenage kids with their own bathroom. It was so peaceful sitting on the deck with tuis playing all around and the lake was only a short stroll. We appreciated the good supply of books and magazines and wished we could have stayed longer. Great place thanks.
What a lovely Bach with caring owners. It was clean and tidy with extras not mentioned on the advertising. The deck is big and has a fantastic shade sail much needed durring our week with out door furniture and a BBQ. There is also sky TV which was not mentioned.
Having the teenagers in a seperate bit with there own bathroom a God sent. Thanks, we would definitely use again if coming back to Taupo.
The deck out the back is provides excellent outdoor living that is private and so close to the lake. great place, thank you for letting us stay
