We have been given the great fortune of having been annual invited guests to this unique property for over ten years. To describe this 'cabin' as a vacation retreat is to diminish the experience. Rarely has a home felt so grand yet so intimate. Inside it's rustic doors we are always welcomed with an easy and elegant comfort, a fireplace warmth, a home away from home escape. Its rustic decor and flowing expanse allows for privacy even when filled with family and friends. Every room feels like its own private suite, yet with beckoning gathering places spread throughout the house. Outside, the rolling stream and manicured property makes this an oasis you think about long after you head back to the crazy city. We have ski'd, fly fished, hiked, horse-backed, shopped, eaten, eaten more, and never seem to run out of things we haven't had time to do, again and again. But the best times have been relaxing and enjoying the emotional hearth this home creates, the escape from stress, the immediate and inviting warmth you feel as soon as you enter. We have tried over and over to find a way to thank the owners for allowing us to return, but the best we can do is to share our experience of it, so that now others can enjoy it as well. This place is a gift, and the love that went into creating it fills every beam and post.
