Shuttle buses for home football games run less than half a mile from the house, which is nice for those who prefer to ride rather than walk. Toomers Corner is exactly 1.5 miles from the front door. The proximity to AU makes this home perfect for any university related activities. It is a delightful place for family and friends to stay when your travel plans bring you to Auburn, whatever the occasion.
The house, which was built in 1940, was renovated in 2007 and was featured the next year on the Loveliest Village Christmas Tour of Homes. The first floor features a large living room and a dining room, both of which open up to a screen porch. The kitchen, with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, connects to the family room . The covered porch off of the family room connects to the brick patio and a separate New Orlean-style courtyard. These outside areas provide the perfect place for outdoor entertaining.
The upstairs includes three bedrooms and one full bath. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other two have two twin beds in each. The large master bedroom suite with a queen size bed offers a beautiful view of the wooded landscape from the bedroom balcony. The suite includes a marble bathroom with a whirlpool bath, and a sitting room.
