CHARMING APT. IN 13TH CENTURY PALAZZO IN LOVELY SMALL TOWN

Our apartment is in the town of Pergola, population 8000, located in the beautiful, little-touristed region of Le Marche, Italy. It is situated right in the historical center of the town- one of 8 apartments in a 13th century palazzo on a narrow cobblestone street. The apartment is up 4 flights of stairs. There are 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen/dining area, a utility room, a small bathroom with shower/bath, an attic, and a small balcony. It is very light and airy with large windows looking out over the rooftops of the city and the church steeples. Fully furnished, with 2 queen beds, 2 Murphy beds, and a cot. There is a washing machine, a color TV, and a gas heater and fireplace.

Pergola is a lively, charming little city, the hub of an agricultural region, set amidst the rolling hills and valleys of Marche, with magnificent views out at the not-too-distant Appenine mountains. Under an hour’s drive to Urbino, Gubbio and other famous Italian tourist destinations, as well as to the Adriatic beaches, which can also be reached by bus or train.
