Perfect for F1 or SXSW executive accommodations, this elegant estate will exceed your expectations. You'll find this home to be a gorgeous and gracious place, mixing the charm and grace of an old estate with the conveniences of modern living. Professionally designed, the interiors include exceptional furnishings, antiques, chandeliers, and original artwork throughout. Four fireplaces, extensive mill work, divided light windows, archways and architectural flourishes at every turn. 14 foot ceilings in some rooms. Downstairs, there are three living areas, and a lovely covered side porch, plus two additional porches, a formal dining room, breakfast room, kitchen, and powder bath. Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite includes a spacious office and large bath/dressing area, fireplace and balcony. Central heat and air, wireless internet, stereo system, several flat screen TVs, computer, XBox 360. Exchange does not include detached garage and its apartment which is rented separately.

Was exactly what we needed!

Planning a place to stay in Austin during SXSW for an eight+ member team of digital designers was not easy. Especially when that planning began well after most accommodations were full. With a very limited budget the challenges began to mount. We wanted to stay relatively close to downtown to avoid expensive taxi fares and hassles, and we all wanted to stay together as it presented a wonderful team building opportunity. This house was exactly what we needed and more! The owners were super friendly - providing excellent customer service, the house was better than described exceeding all of our expectations, the property was clean and well maintained, and I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in a beautiful suburb located just on the outskirts of downtown Austin.

Attending SXSW can be exhausting, and it was wonderful for the team to return to this house every night and decompress. The house was big enough to give us each a little bit of our own space, but also provide the perfect setting for a memorable team building experience. Thank you, Dawn, for everything!

Corporate SxSW housing exceeded expectations....

Our last minute scramble to bring in additional corporate-hands for our SxSw2011 week, found us at the front doors of this Austin, tx. home. The pictures from Homeaway's site were exceptional and the location was ideal for what we needed; however we discovered even more treasures about this property during our stay.
Our large group opened the front doors to find an beautiful home with lovely furnishings and appointments; however the photos did not reveal the WARM and comfortable atmosphere of the home. Immediately we knew that this large home was the perfect get-away oasis of serenity for our hectic and fast-paced (long working hours) SxSw week.
Plenty of space to find what you are looking for: an out-of-the way reading corner, an outdoor morning coffee chair, a game table for the family, or a comfy luxury bed to rest... this property has it all!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers
