Interlochen is the home to the Interlochen Center for the Arts, home to an international music camp that has produced talents including Norah Jones, Jewel, Mike Wallace and Ed Helms to name a few. The Center hosts a fantastic summer festival each summer with guests like Yoyo Ma, Chicago, Count Basie's Big Band, Lyle Lovett and K.D. Lang. Check their web site for this summer's line-up (interlochen.org). We also have a very special and active yoga studio, Blooming Lotus, where your first class is free. InterQuilten is our busy quilting store and studio that offers lots of classes all year. We have a beautiful golf course nearby. The best local coffee house is Bud's, built on the original location of the Shell Gas Station that had the best doughnuts ever! Bud's has the original recipe and machine so you can taste the douhnuts of my youth! Yum!
The Green Township Park has a great playground and loads of walking paths for running the dogs and enjoying the northwoods.
