I'm a 'young' lady in my mid fifty's who enjoys sharing my passion for Bruges.
I'm a globetrotter myself.
Hessels Tine purchased this apartment in 2013
This city mansion has belonged to my family for years. When younger, my brothers and myself all used to live in one of the apartments. Gradually we all moved as we started having children ourselves. My parents still live in one of the apartments on the first floor. The studio's are all on the ground floor.
Right in the tourist center of Bruges with all the hustle and bustle just around the corner, yet extremely quiet as the studio is situated at the garden side of the mansion. You only need a good pair of shoes to explore the city. And if your feet get tired, the bikes are waiting for you to cruise the city in a relaxed way.
Free city map and lots of information about hidden gems in the city.
Garden with terrace to enjoy the sun and/or eat outside on warm, sunny days.
What a wonderful and amazing surprise this beautiful little loft style apartment is, right in the center of Buges within a few minutes walk of "Old Town" with it's many amazing historical buildings and picture post card vistas.
The apartment is modern and as described with all fixtures and fittings in working order. Having the Loft bed made it feel bigger when you were downstairs in the living, dining, bathroom and kitchen areas. However you may need to be careful on the stairs as they fell a little steep and are painted which felt a little slippery in socks (but we had no trouble and are in our 50's). The bathroom was interesting as its combined with the sink and toilet and did get a wee bit wet after a shower. My wife had a sound nights sleep most nights (she is a light sleeper) which is a testimonial to the quiet street.
Check in is around the corner at the Hotel was simple and easy and the staff there were a joy to interact with, helping to arrange Taxi's as we dd a lot of day trips and making suggestions on what to see. The 30 minute canal cruise (which is only two streets away) was excellent. Thank you for a lovely 6 days in Belgium.
This attractive apartment was perfectly situated in the center of Bruges, within walking distance to everything in the old town, but on a quiet street. The nearby underground public parking garage made it easy to get away for day trips outside of town. The small apartment was well equipped and comfortable, though the bathroom's unenclosed shower got that small space very wet. We needed to check in at a nearby hotel and the gentleman who assisted us was very helpful. The listing indicates that a washing machine is available; if so, it is not inside the apartment, and we never saw it. There also did not seem to be any way to access the garden shown in the listing.
My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights in the beginning of October in Bruges. We had a lovely stay at the Breydelhof studio. The studio was very beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed how close it was to many sights in the city center itself and the fish market right outside our doors was a plus. Not everyday did they have fish but many other venders selling their goods and souvenirs. Great bars, restaurants and bistros all around and in a short walking distance. We loved our stay and were wowed every day by the beautiful sights, amazingly gracious people and wonderfully delicious food. We even got a bike ride in on our stay as the weather couldn't have been nicer in Oct. Amazing stay Thank you Bruges!
My wife and I recently spent three nights at Breydelhof in Bruges. We found the apartment very clean and with quality appointments. There are many positive aspects to renting this apartment: right in the city center, private and quiet day or night, walkable to everything, air-conditioning, nicely appointed, nice semi-private outdoor patio, great inexpensive restaurant two short blocks away adjacent nice park. The owners also own a nearby hotel which has a great, very helpful staff (especially Iris) and an indoor pool offered for our use. The hotel invited us to attend a walking tour of Bruges hosted for their hotel guests; this tour was a highlight for us. There are also a fews negatives from our perspective: Limited kitchen and bathroom space. Also, the upstairs sleeping area was quite warm at night and required us to run the air conditioning all night. The stairs were steep with the only bathroom downstairs. Not recommended for anyone with physical limitations on climbing stairs. It was interesting that the shower, sink, and toilet were all one continuous space.
Overall, Breydelhof is a very nice place to settle for a few nights in Bruges.
The luxurious studio at the Breydelhof residence is situated on the ground-floor of a classified mansion right in the very heart of the old city center, close to the Market Square, Burg and Fish market. It is a haven of peace and comfort after an exciting day of culture, art, shopping and culinary delights.
The 3 luxury studios are facing a quaint city garden to guarantee a night of undisturbed rest. Are you looking for a romantic setting full of charm and discretion? Then you are at the right place.
Private parking or secure underground parking garage just at 2 minutes walking distance.
