We had six adults in this beautiful home and had more than plenty of room to accommodate our needs. The house was furnished very nicely and the views were absolutely incredible. It was very easy to find and the location was perfect for enjoying all Grand Lake and the area have to offer. The hot tub was a nice touch and worked perfectly. I hope we get the chance to come back next year and we will not hesitate to book this property again. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with, overall experience was an A+.
The house is bigger and better than we expected. With a group of 12 ladies, there was ample room for socializing, meeting and also splitting up for privacy. The kitchen was well equiped and there was nothing that we needed throughout the home that was not provided as part of the rental. The comfort and solitude of the house made for a perfect women's retreat and as the leader, I would definitely rent this space again for the same purpose or for a get away with my family. The home is decorated and furnished with style and beauty. Absolutely loved it!
Our family of 11 stayed at this wonderful home. It was perfect for our three teenagers as well as relaxing and comfortable for the rest. Our family of 5 shared the downstairs; two couples were upstairs and my husband and I loved the master suite. The hot tub is wonderful too. This home has everything and our family truly enjoyed both the back and front porch/patio to sit and celebrate. We had a wonderful time at this wonderful home. Nikki and Dewayne are very easy to contact too. Perfect!
I and my four sisters plus two spouses accompanied our mother to this gorgeous cabin in late June. The accommodations could not have been more impressive. The owner has done a fabulous job of incorporating a rustic theme throughout the home. There was plenty of room for our group of eight adults. I hesitate to use the word "value" in describing this place because that seems to cheapen the environs, and this property is top-notch quality all the way. Yet I think you really do get a lot for your money here.
If you enjoy fishing, Grand Lake (about five miles away) is an excellent rainbow trout fishery (the cabin has lots of tackle, though I used my own equipment). I bought a two-day license and limited both days. We saw a black bear one morning (more of a cinnamon color) making his way through the back yard. On other days we saw marmots, foxes, and deer. There's a fire pit in the yard and lots of wood, which the owner allows you to saw up if needed (chainsaw included). We enjoyed an evening around the fire roasting marshmellows and making smores.
The only downside for our group was that Estes Park is about an hour away, but it's about the prettiest drive you'll ever take in a car. Closer by, we found great hiking trails and saw a number of moose (even a cow and newborn calf).
The owner is tremendously accommodating, too, and was very accessible when we had any questions about the place. We had an unforgettable stay, and I wouldn't hesitate going back or recommending this place to anyone.
My wife and I booked this home to accommodate our family for a wedding at the Grand Lake Lodge. It was the perfect place for us from my 89 year old mother in law to my 1 year old great nephew. There was plenty of room for everyone. Either inside enjoying the huge Great Room on the main floor or outside taking in the views from the back porch plus the hot tub at night with all those incredible stars that seem so close you could reach out and touch them. Stock up with groceries in nearby Granby at the very modern new City Market and do your own cooking or go into Grand Lake to dine out. The entrance to the Rocky Mtn National park is just minutes away for a drive along theTrail Ridge scenic roadway. Or spend time on any of the three lakes Grand Lake, Shadow Mtn Lake and Granby Lake. I would definitely recommend this rental.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful 5 bedroom home. Even though we did not use all 3 floors, we saw what a wonderful getaway it could be for multiple families or couples. Each floor had its own living space as well as bedrooms. All furnishings were very high end but comfortable. Everything was very clean and the pictures were accurate. The owner answered all my questions and highly helpful. Loved the location-on a hill out a little bit from town but close enough to get anywhere in 10 minutes. Enjoyed the hot tub, the view, and the animal watching. We saw a fox outside our window one morning. Saw the aftermath of a bear as well. Hummingbird feeder was fun to watch. Being from Dallas, we enjoyed all that the mountains bring. Would highly recommend
