It Sounds Like You’re at Kyle Field Watching the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band March in!
Hear the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band and the cannon fire, while you witness A&M fans flock to Kyle Field from the front porch of our newly renovated 1948 home. It is located on the prestigious Lee Avenue in the Historic District of College Station. Given the close proximity to Texas A&M University and Kyle Field you will be located right in the heart of Aggieland! With the spacious front and back porches you can host your own tailgate parties without ever leaving the house and still experience the Aggie Spirit. At game time, it is literally a 5 minute walk (across George Bush Drive) to Kyle Field. Whoop!
The house is nearly 3,800 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a living area at the front of the house as well as a game room in the back. Along with concrete and granite countertops and two sinks, the kitchen is equipped with a 36” Jenn-Air commercial-grade gas range, side-by-side refrigerator, microwave, XM satellite radio and a TV. The open floor plan of the kitchen, dining room and breakfast area allow the entire space to accommodate seating for 15+ people comfortably.
In the right wing of the house the spacious master bedroom provides a king sized bed and a small couch sits at the base of the bed in view of the 34” HDTV with 150 channels including HBO. The master bath has large walk-in shower while an oversized free standing antique bath tub is the focal point of the bath room with his and her lavatory sinks around the perimeter.
The “pink” and “purple” bedrooms share a hallway with the guest bathroom that is decorated with vintage black and white tile and a cultured marble bathtub and tile shower as well as two drop-in vanity sinks. The pink bedroom is furnished with a double sized bed along with a small TV while the purple bedroom contains a double sized sleeper-sofa.
Down the brick hallway, in the left wing of the house, there are two bedrooms off of the game room that both have double sized beds. These bedrooms along with the game room share a large bathroom that has a tub/shower and two drop-in lavatory sinks. In the game room there is a 42” HDTV with 150 channels including HBO, an X-Box 360 and a large comfortable wrap-around couch. In addition, the room is very spacious and can accommodate air mattresses, sleeping bags, etc. Three single sized air mattresses with linens are provided for your use.
All bedrooms and living areas are equipped with ceiling fans. The utility room is equipped with a washer and dryer with laundry detergent for your convenience as well as an ironing board and iron. The driveway is large enough to provide plenty of off street parking.

Although my husband and I are both Texas A&M graduates, our children are at ages that require us to spend our weekends watching their sports instead of attending the Aggie games, many of them are out of town. Therefore we just feel like our location and the suitability of our home would be wasted if it were not used by someone for those events. We hope that Aggies are able to appreciate all of these amenities like we do. Gig 'em!
