We are unable to use our Highlands Inn Timeshare this year, and would like to share it with appreciative guests.
The Highlands Inn is a newly-renovated, elegant full-service hotel that Hyatt considers one of its premium properties. Our Unit #314 is one of the highest one-bedroom, one bath apartments with spectacular views overlooking the Pacific Ocean Coastline. Its own balcony and sliding-glass doors offer easy access to the outdoors, fresh air and the sounds of distant pounding surf and barking seals; this is a wonderful spot to enjoy some wine and a beautiful sunset.
We are tucked away in one of the quietest buildings on the property, yet within easy walking distance of the Main Lobby and the hotel’s two fine restaurants.
In addition to the amenities offered by any premier hotel (plush bathrobes, daily newspapers, room service, concierge, etc.), The Highlands Inn offers a full in-room kitchen, as well as exceptional recreational facilities (including 3 spa hot tubs, a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool, and a fitness center with treadmills, stair-climbers and stationary bicycles).
Guests will enjoy being within easy driving distance of Carmel-By-The-Sea, Carmel Valley, Pebble Beach and Monterey (with its world-class golf courses and the Monterey Bay Aquarium).

My wife and I live in Oakland, only a short 2-1/2 hr. (125 mile) drive away. We feel 'a million miles away from home' in this perfectly stunning and private Pacific Coast setting. A wonderful, very relaxing vacation site.
I have been an owner of vintage cars for over 50 years, and have long appreciated the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance held annually during late August, only 8 miles away from The Highlands Inn.. The 2015 Concours is Sunday, August 16, and The Highlands Inn is otherwise SOLD OUT.
Finally, we got to stay at the Hyatt Highland Inns in Carmel and it was wonderful. From the minute we arrived to when we checked out, the staff, our room and the views were wonderful. The room was perfect - great view, fireplace, kitchen, big tub and comfortable bed. Cant' say enough good things about this place.
The condo was pristine and the area was tranquil and relaxing. Carmel was quaint and beautiful. The Highlands are a perfect jumping off point as you can go north to Carmel-by-the-Sea and Monterey or south to Big Sur. The gardens were well maintained and beautiful. The view from the condo was even better than expected as the whole side were floor to ceiling windos and you could see the ocean from any room. The owners were extremely charming and accomodating as well. I would highly recommend this as a great place to stay while you are visiting Carmel or Big Sur.
