We call this apartment the Molly Malone after the famous Irish fish barrow girl dating back to the 1600's.

A recently refurbished apartment that sleeps 2-3 comfortably ideally situated close to the Phoenix Park and Botanic Gardens.This is a modern City stay in a beautiful Victorian red bricked house.Within easy reach of all the fabulous restaurants, museums, parks, Aras an Uachtarain, Farmleigh House and of course shopping that Dublin has to offer.

Easy walk to numerous bus stops train staions that will connect you with the Luas which will connect you with all of Dublin.

We provide a welcome pack to get you on your feet and there is a major supermarket within a 5 minute walk so you will never run out of essentials.

All linen and towels freshly laundered for your use.

The apartment is in a beautiful large red brick Victorian building on a tree lined street.

In the studio there is a double bed and a pull down sofa that makes another single bed.

There is a kitchen/ dining area and of course a bathroom complete with a shower.

There is fridge, cooker & microwave. For anyone considering exploring Ireland further there is a car hire company within easy reach and a train station 5 minutes walk away. The famous Guinness Brewery is close at hand as well as the Jameson Distillery both of which run tours regularly and are worth a visit. Dublin is also renowned for it's famous Temple bar area for entertainment which is a bus ride away. For art lovers the Irish Museum of Modern Art is 15 minutes away and the National Museum of Ireland is 10 minutes away. Saturdays and Sundays from Spring to the end of Summer can be spent at the Point Village with its many market stalls, street entertainments and funfair. Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol, Ryan's Victorian Pub are some other of the many attractions that are available.

I chose this location for the proximity to the city centre and of course the beautiful Victorian Redbrick lined North Circular Road.These properties are a feature of Dublin and are preserved by Dublin Council. The fact that the Phoenix Park and the Botanic gardens are within walking distances is an absolute plus, providing plenty of recreational activity.

There are a number of benefits to staying in this property. Located close to the heart of the city of Dublin there is an excellant transport system by bus and light rail that means all of the sights can be visited with the minimum of fuss. The building itself is a beautiful Victorian property that has unique charm while offering all the modern comforts that a guest could expect.

The location is ideal as it is quiet while being convenient to all shopping, sights, transport, museums etc. that makes a holiday. Located beside the Phoenix park which is Europe's largest urban park the traveller can have a taste of the country while still remaining in the city.

There truly is something for everyone.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

Not only is the location perfect on a superficial level - beautiful, comfortable lodgings; fantastic location; and excellent accessibility - but we were also completely taken care of on a personal level as well. Liam was a wonderful host, and we were absolutely blown away by the level of forethought and consideration that was prepared for us when we arrived. Any need or concern we had was taken care of immediately - and for three young women traveling alone for the first time abroad, we could certainly appreciate that!
Pricing was more than fair, especially considering the excellent quality, and thanks to Liam, our stay in Dublin went like a dream. Thanks from Texas! 10/10 would stay here again!

THE FANTASTIC MOLLY MALONE

Molly Malone apartment was a great beginning to our travels in Ireland. We found the apartment very comfortable and even managed to fit three of us in with the option of the comfortable foldout couch for our niece. We were very grateful for the fully stocked kitchen which enabled us to prepare meals with ease. The apartment was pristine, comfortable, and very quiet. Situated an easy 20 minute saunter from downtown Dublin, with grocery stores, restaurants, and pubs within a block of this true gem of a find, we absolutely recommend the Molly Malone apartment and are so grateful to Liam for making us feel so at home.

EXCELLENT VALUE AND LOCATION!

My husband and I stayed in the Molly Malone for 5 days in May. The studio apartment was perfect for us and we felt it was excellent value for money and did not break our budget. It is clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Liam met us at the apartment to show us around and he even left us a bowl of fruit which was much appreciated. We also liked having a major grocery store and cash point just a short walk away! The Molly Malone is at the back of the building so it is quiet. There is a major bus route out front and if you have a car, there is street parking available. The apartment is well located as it is near enough to everything if you choose to walk but away from the hustle and bustle of the core of Dublin. After several busy days of exploring, we appreciated the proximity to Phoenix Park. Having such beautiful green space so close to us was a real treat. One final note to Liam - of all the places we stayed at during our one month trip, we found Liam to be the most responsive to our email queries. Every question was answered promptly and with warmth and kindness. We highly recommend the Molly Malone for its location, price and charm! Thank you Liam and Fiona!

We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Molly Malone. We find that guests experience a peaceful and relaxing stay at our apartments and often some return to stay again.
This is our first studio accommodation and most guest find this to be the ideal way to see the beautiful city of Dublin while not having to spend a fortune on accommodation.
We pride ourselves on comfort and make sure that our apartments have all the essentials of home to make guests feel that they don't have to eat out if they don't want to. For those that do want to eat out there is a number of excellent restaurants in the area and some wonderful pubs to relax in after a long day sightseeing. We have one local hostelry that has had a very favorable review in the NY times recently and another pub that provides traditional Irish music nightly. All within a 10 minute walk.
Truly a wonderful area with something for everyone. We hope to see you back again with us sometime in the future. Take care for now and thank you for choosing Glencourt Apartments.

VISITORS TO IRELAND

We did not realize this was a third floor flat. Also it was just one good sized room with sofa, bed, and kitchen with separate bath. 3 people would have been VERY tight. I really felt the listing was not accurate and photos were misleading. The owner was very helpful and willing to accomodate though and the flat was clean. The property was not really near the pub area and buses or taxis were needed to get where you wanted to go. I would reccomend this place for one person only.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that the description did not meet your expectations. Any comments to date regarding the photographs have suggested otherwise. To date we have had very favorable comments from guests. The apartment has a double bed and a pull out sofa for a third person should it be required.
There are numerous pubs within 15 minutes walking distance. One of which has been very favorably reviewed in the New York Times recently - namely L. Mulligan Grocer. There are also some very nice restaurants within a 10 minute walking distance. There are numerous buses to the city center within 100 meters of the apartment. The Luas light rail system is only a 10 minute walk. One can walk to the city center within 30 minutes if preferred. We are an 8 minute walk to the beautiful Phoenix Park which is Europe's largest urban park. There are numerous visitor attractions such as museums, galleries etc all within 30 minute walk and Temple bar is a 30 minute walk also but a bus will take you there in 10 minutes. The apartment is situated at the back of the house and is quiet and is the perfect place to relax after a hard days sightseeing the beautiful city of Dublin.

THE PLACE TO STAY IN DUBLIN!

We have been using VRBO for years and this is one of the most comfortable and best properties for the price that we have stayed in. The apartment is extremely clean, very well-maintained, with everything new quality/matching (sometimes we have stayed in places where things are old, broken and mismatched, in this property one has the feeling that one is in a hotel or a fine guest house). The owner has really thought out what guests need, and everything from reading lights to extra towels is provided. The unit is located in the back, so it is nice and quiet, with no street noise. It is located about 5 minutes walking from a large grocery store, a backery and a drug store. If you enjoy walking, it is 20 minutes from the center of town. The owner arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, which was great after a long international flight. The owner was there to meet us when we arrived; he went out of his way to answer all of our questions and make sure that we were comfortable. In the apartment he has an extensive collection of travel information\maps for all the sights in Dublin, as well as day tours from Dublin, etc. This property definately deserves 5 stars!!!

A great place to stay with easy access to the city centre in just 10 minutes by bus. There is a regular bus service that runs right by the front door and there is the light rail system which is a great way to see Dublin in its entirety.

A major supermarket is just a few minutes walk so all food requirements can be taken care of easily. The beautiful Phoenix Park is Europe's largest urban park is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and houses Dublin Zoo. This is a must see for any traveller to spend a few hours wandering through the trees and beautiful landscape. Excellant restaurants and pubs some providing traditional Irish music which should be experienced. The Guinness Brewery, Jamestown Distillery, National Gallery Of Ireland, Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol all worth a visit.
