My wife and I , along with another couple, had the pleasure of staying in the two bedroom Treehouse II . I must say that we were quiet impressed with our selection for a getaway when we arrived to the house. It was definitely a wow factor once we were greeted by Charmaine as she took us on a tour to welcome us to the property. The ambience and privacy factor is superb , being nestled in a beautiful garden paradise of exotic flowers and birds. Words cannot describe the view from the large deck outside the living area and from one of the adjoining bedrooms. We did find the second bedroom on the terrace level to be very spacious and comfortable with the plunge pool right outside your door. This room also included a full bathroom with ample space. So to say the the least , we were more than satisfied with the accommodations provided to us.
We loved the location near to the town of Soufriere and also the short walk down to the beautiful black sand beach at Anse Chastanet Resort. We are very active people so we did a great deal of exploring and spending time in the local culture. We did hike into the rain forest which was incredible as well as a somewhat challenging hike to the top of the Gros Piton. The choice of activities from the location of the house are numerous. I could go on and on but with limited time I felt it only fitting and justified to express my Sincere and Grateful thanks to the owner of this listing which exceeded all of our expectations.
Of course , this gets a 5+ Star rating indeed. This place will not disappoint you...

Everything was perfect. Sam arranged for a super friendly driver to pick us up from the airport who stopped at the grocery store along the way to stock the Treehouse and had some ice cold Pitons in a cooler for us. Charmaine greeted us warmly and had a delicious dinner waiting upon our arrival. The house was gorgeous, impeccably clean, and had everything we could need and more. The sunset from the deck was even more gorgeous than that at $1500 per night Jade Mountain. Everything was perfect and I couldn't recommend Treehouse 2 higher. We only required 1 bedroom but the 2nd bedroom and bath were seperate enough to provide plenty privacy.
We really enjoyed our stay at Treehouse II. The adventure started from the second we landed, where we were met by our driver. He met us with a smile, and a cold beer - no better way to start a vacation!!
The drive to the treehouse is not for the faint of heart. From the second you leave soufrierre and start climbing the hill we realized that we had made a wise decision not to rent a car. Only experts should be driving here. Roads are made of dirt, narrow and the drop into the Caribbean sea is sheer! Use Benton's cars to take you around the island. His drivers are always on time and very knowledgeable and pleasant.
When we arrived, we were met by Charmaine. Charmaine is WONDERFUL and a true asset to the treehouse. We were provided a home cooked meal and shown all the amenities of the property. The villa is clean, nicely sized and has everything you need to feel at home. The plunge pool, deck and gardens and beautifully kept and so private. We felt like we were the only people for miles!
The next day we walked down to Anse Chastenet beach. The walk down was fine, but I do offer a word of caution to the unfit or injured- what goes down must come up, and up and up. It is quite the hike. Wear real sandles or you may find your journey even more difficult to make.
Anse chastenet beach is beautiful. We chose a spot on the sand and swam and snorkeled. The snorkeling here is lovely, but beware the jellyfish that frequent! They seemed better after noon.
You can eat at the resort, but I will be honest and say that I wasn't that impressed with the food there. Especially given how expensive the meal was. My recommendation is to cook for yourself, or have Charmaine pick up some incredible local food. Sam has provided a BBQ for your use :)
My only solid recommendation would be to bring a very strong bug spray with you! Sam provides repellent but it just wasn't strong enough for me. I have never been bitten so much in my life. My husband was luckier than I and didn't suffer quite as much. I guess I am yummy.
It's the price you pay for being at one with nature and part of the adventure!
Because the main rooms are not air conditioned and it is warm, you do need to leave the doors open. This can lead to a few bugs (mostly suicidal beetles who would launch themselves at your head) but I saw only one cockroach and it was very dead!
We would go back in a heartbeat...a true adventure! Thank you to everyone who made our visit so special.
What a great way to stay in St Lucia and enjoy the island! The TREEHOUSE II is exactly what is (and for me more than what is) advertised here. The home itself is very clean and well kept. The staff are very sweet and and helped make the stay more enjoyable. The view from the balcony is one of the best views we saw while on the island and we saw many places! My favorite part of the whole stay was getting to feed the birds each day. As soon as they saw we were up, they were there chirping and asking for breakfast . They were always very thankful! We also loved being able to cook our own breakfast and dinner if we wanted to. The plunge pool was also very nice to take a dip and cool off after a long day out. They also have a great book that gives you all the insight you need for what to do and how much it may cost. We would stay here again if we ever return to St Lucia!
WOW!!!! What a spectacular tropical paradise! The Treehouse II exceeded all of our expectations in every way. We so enjoyed waking up to the most spectacular view of the Pitons, glorius sunsets, and the natural beauty of this tropical paradise. The Treehouse II is an open living villa in a gorgeous natural setting. Its called the TREEHOUSE for a reason! I was a bit worried about the open air environment ( not too crazy about bugs and critters ), but it proved to be one of my favorite features of the villa. Didn't see bugs, mosquitos or critters. We throughly enjoyed the many different species of birds that call the lush foliage surrounding the Treehouse their home. They enjoyed being fed bananas, while we enjoyed their singing in return.
The Treehouse II is located in the most perfect area. It is a short hike to the black sand beaches of Anse Chastenet. The resort at Anse Chastenet offered relaxation, snorkeling, scuba diving, and fantastic food and drinks. The local Mojito was really yummy! The Treehouse II is also a short walk to the city of Soufriere, where you will conviently find the grocery store, produce markets, and the ATM. After a short driver from the Treehouse II, we found ourselves ZIPPING through the rain forest, hiking to a waterfall and enjoying the local Botanical Garden.
One of my favorite things from the trip was meeting Sam, Charmaine, Benton, and many other staff members. The trip would not have been the same without the graciousness of each one. Sam was beyond helpful in all aspects of our trip planning. He helped us make arrangements for activities, taxis, and water excursions. Charmaine was incredibly attentive to all of our needs. We were greeted our first night at the Treehouse II with a fabulous home cooked St. Lucian meal. I will have to say it was the BEST meal of the entire trip!
Thank you to all who made our trip very special!!! We cant wait to return to the Treehouse II.
