My friends and I stayed here in the spring and we loved the laid-back, familiar feel. The place was plenty big for us three and we although we ate out too much to enjoy it, the kitchen was well stocked and homey (coffee included! nice.) Clean place- accurate listing information.
Elevator was good option, but stairs fine too. Fifth floor, so may make folks with little ones may not need that extra wait/stroller hefting but for this place, it would be worth it. Nice clean tub for bathing kiddos. Couch fine for shorter person- air mattress available but we did not need.
The location was off beat but easily accessible (subway L train). Quiet at night and safe. Nice garden and parks nearby with plenty of places to eat and shop too. And the owners were very helpful and friendly as well!
Chai for Now across the street had the best cinnamon rolls and yummy coffee (vegan options too.)

The apartment is located on a quiet street surrounded by several restaurants, pubs, and cafes within walking distance. The subway is a few short blocks away, with a train that connects you to anywhere you want to go. The apartment itself is clean, cozy, and is charmingly decorated. It is conveniently equipped with homey comforts such as coffees and teas, all cooking utensils, HBO TV, wi-fi, and office supplies if needed.
Mark and Jessica were more than accommodating with all our needs and any questions or concerns that came up throughout our stay. They are extremely friendly people and made our stay super comfortable, and we couldn't thank them enough for everything they did for us.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was spotless, well-maintained and offered a nice mix of comfort and efficiency. The pictures on the website are accurate and give a good sense of the artistic feel of the space.

We appreciated Jessica and Mark's thoughtful touches~ a variety of tea, coffee, toiletries, a fabulous kitchen with everything we needed to prepare home-made meals, small appliances that you rarely find in bare-bones apartments/ hotels, and not one but TWO umbrellas (priceless!).

The owners were also very easy to work with. They were communicative and responsive to our emails, made payment easy, arranged for immediate and easy access to the apartment upon our evening arrival, and provided us with specifically-tailored restaurant suggestions.

The main living area of the apartment was surprisingly sunny and quiet for a city apartment. We didn't use the TV often but it was nice to have cable (and HBO!). We called the bedroom the "sleep chamber" because the bed was incredibly comfortable, the temperature was perfect, and the normal city apartment sounds-- specifically, the radiator (there was no traffic noise)-- actually acted as white noise at night. The bed was well-appointed, there were fun books to peruse, and lighting is stylish and modern.

This is a great home-base for a visit to the city~ the subway is 3 blocks away, there are many (many, many!) great restaurant and night-life options, it's close to Union Square (fun holiday and farmers' market) and Whole Foods is within walking distance. It was also nice to have an elevator in the apartment building... We had a wonderful stay!
