About Jennifer

Hi! I've lived in Florida for the past 14 years having moved here from Newport, RI. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's of Science in Consumer Affairs. I've worked in Real Estate, Social Services and Staffing/Recruiting. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, reading, cooking and going to the beach!

Why Jennifer chose St Petersburg

My husband and I bought this property because we love the 'old world' charm of the neighborhood with its' brick streets and craftsman style architecture. We love that we can walk to our favorite restaurants, shops and entertainment! This neighborhood is like a New England town without the cold weather!

What makes this cottage unique

This is a single level cottage so there won't be any stairs to navigate except 2 steps onto the front porch. There is a private parking spot behind the cottage. It has central AC/Heat (no window shakers)! Easy walk to downtown and the waterfront with it's own small beach! You'll also enjoy a private washer/dryer right in the cottage. A horse drawn carriage can pick you up right at the cottage door (a unique benefit to this neighborhood) and tour you around the neighborhood and/or take you downtown and drop you off at dinner! So fun!

Best summer ever!,

  • 5 of 5
The cottage was even better than described in the listing. Perfect size, immaculate and included all the amenities of home. Great courtyard that my small dog had a ball exploring. The front porch is perfect morning, noon or night. Wonderful neighborhood for walking to town, the water, tennis courts, dog park or anything you need. Since I leased the cottage for a long period, I got to know the owners, Jennifer and Brian. We all seemed to have a lot in common and hit it off well. They know of many fine restaraunts and places to go and had many great recommendations. I can't wait to return in 2015!

The best of the best!!!

Well, what can i say? I just hope I can stay at Jennifer and Brians sweet cottage again. I am afraid it will fill up for every month! I was so cozy and comfy and felt so safe. Could walk everywhere and I did! Immaculately clean. A home away from home. And so quiet. You could sleep so soundly. They are just the best!! I will be back and I hope soon.

Relaxing Retreat in Great Location

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here with our daughter to visit friends and explore St. Petersburg. The cottage was such a great spot that we ended up spending much more time there than we planned. It was surprisingly quiet, especially considering you're in the heart of St. Pete. My favorite part was the front porch for a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The whole place is beautifully furnished with a coastal vibe. The bedroom is rather large with a comfortable bed; the living space is inviting with a nice-sized flatscreen; the kitchen is more than enough space to prepare dinner...the place is immaculately clean, even my husband commented. Highly recommended!

Immaculate Cottage with Attentive Hosts

  • 5 of 5
My wife, my 2 year old son and myself recently stayed at this spotlessly clean cottage; you could literally eat off the floor, it was immaculate - I definitely invoked the five second rule several times. In addition to the cleanliness, the place was super comfy with relaxing decor. When we came back from all day at the beach, the couch and some Gold Rush on the flat screen was where it was at. It was glorious to fall asleep on the couch at five and wake up at six to the smell of dinner from the full kitchen that we almost ate every meal out of; saved a ton of money and had some awesome meals outside on the patio. Jen and Brian were super helpful suggesting places to go, including an all natural grocery store and provided good recommendations of things to do. We left refreshed and eager to return! Thank you for having us - cheers Jen and Brian!

Perfect honeymoon getaway!

  • 5 of 5
Such an amazing piece of paradise! Immaculately clean and beautiful home. Everything is so close to either walk or take a quick drive. And yet so peaceful and quiet. Jennifer and Brian were great hosts and were very kind and welcoming. The home had everything we needed and then some! We enjoyed every second of our stay. It was a perfect honeymoon! We would recommend this property to anyone looking for and beautiful, quiet place to relax and enjoy the Florida sun!

We hope to come back next year, and the year after that! :)

Jennifer and Brian thank you for sharing your property with us. It was absolutely perfect.

Wonderful home base to explore downtown St. Pete.

  • 5 of 5
Jennifer and Brian's cottage is a wonderful place to call home base while visiting the St. Pete area. Beautifully decorated, clean and the location is perfect for walking to downtown St. Pete and Tampa Bay beaches and marinas. After exploring all day it was a joy to come home to this delightful cottage. The bed, linens, kitchen and bath were first class. Even our dog had a good time meeting the many other pets in the area. Dog park just a short walk away. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a week or weekend away.
