(note, video link shows last years camper, but gives a good idea of the lake and dock and site. New video as soon as we are set up for season.)
Shaded lake front Camper/Trailer NEW JAYCO WHITE HAWK Two miles down private Honoco Road near Franklin Point. Large dock features a bench for viewing the breathtaking sunsets, watching the numerous waterfowl, or catching a few perch, bluegill or smallies for a tasty dinner. The night is dark with the night sky bursting with a zillion stars. Swimming in this rocky bottom clean lake is awesome. We purchased a new Jayco White Hawk Caravan edition camper for 2015. The unit is still in winter storage offsite, so pictures will not be available until late April. If you are familiar with the site as a previous guest, we removed the wooden deck and constructed a wide area paver patio for expanded seating and outdoor dining. The unit has one private bedroom. Not suitable for children but perfect for just two adults. No pets. I will make a new youtube video of the site as soon as we have the unit on property.
The Finger Lakes wineries are everywhere. Mackenzie- Childs outlet factory is minutes away, too.
Water is pumped directly out of the lake and has not been tested for drinking. The lake is very clean. Two gallons of bottled water are provided for drinking.
The access is by a private on lane road, Honoco Rd access off of Lake Road only. The private access road runs in front of the camper between the yard and the dock.
Keywords: shaded lakefront setting, private dock, two miles down private Honoco Rd. close to Long Point State Park

Joanne and I love the lake. Our camp is next door and we will try to do whatever we can to make your visit on the Lake a relaxing and enjoyable time. If you are thinking this might be what you are looking for, please call me to learn more and answer all of your questions. It is a camper, the setting is along a private road with other camps a few doors down..
Jim Ambrose purchased this recreational vehicle in 2011
If you are a camper, why pull your own,...come use ours.
peacefulness at night, starry sky, rolling waves, awesome view of thunderstorms coming in from the west, good fishing, waterskiing, snorkeling,....
We just love visiting the Finger Lakes and this little home away from home suits us to a "T"! Jim and Joanne are excellent to rent from and are always there if you need them and yet they give you the space and privacy you desire. They provide such nice welcoming touches, too. From fresh-caught lake trout, to a bowl of fresh fruit, to dropping off some sweet corn (and always have s'mores fixin's).
It's so nice to wake up in the morning, open up the window and there is the lake. There's a reason we've been here 4 times already and are looking forward to returning next month. Very happy with our latest week-long stay! :)
Brad and I really enjoyed our time on the lake. We hit the wineries, ate delicious meals at Fargo and The Knapp restaurant and spent the evenings watching the gorgeous sunsets from "our " dock. Then roasted marshmallows over the campfire before retiring to a very comfy queen camper bed. Jim & Joanne are lovely hosts who made sure we had all we needed for a wonderful stay. We even met their son who checked on us when they were unavailable. All this and the privacy and peacefulness have made us sure to come back next year to this little slice of heaven.
You must stay here if you are in the area. This place had everything and then some. All of the comforts of home with a beautiful view of the lake. Your right on the water just sitting on the dock or have a waterside campfire at sunset. All of the neighbors are very friendly as well.
Looked just like the picture.Hosts were super accomodating and provided excellent communication.Camper was very well stocked and super clean.Perfect location to visit wineries. We loved Long Point winery especially. This was our first experience renting from VRBO-won't hesitate to do so again.Only stayed 3 nites but will rent a whole week next summer. Thanks Jim and Joanne-see you next year! Thanks for the fresh vegetables.!
Just as it is advertised - is how you'll find this little slice of heaven. The camper is beautiful, very clean, and well stocked to make it feel like home away from home. The quietness of the location makes it impossible to do anything but relax and recharge. This was our second stay and it proved to be even better than our first! Thanks so much, Jim and Joanne - for sharing Solaris with us. You were great hosts and we can't wait to visit again!
This is by far the best deal in town. The camper is very clean and has plenty of room. Very peaceful. Wake up in the morning to waves on the rocks. I have already bookmarked this camper to rent next year. Jim was very polite and helpful. I have no complaints about this vacation spot.
Long Point State Park is just minutes from the entrance to Honoco Road. and has large structured play area for small children, beach area, and picnic areas on the waterfront.
Fishing off dock and in front of property is excellent,
Franklin Point area of the lake,
Snorkeling in front of the property, look for fossils in the shale,
4 mile private access road, 2 miles north and 2 miles south of the property is excellent for bike riding, or road bike the miles of scenic farm roads that have views of the lake as you ride north and south along the east side of the lake. But, our guests come back to just chill and de-stress sitting out on the dock with the expansive view of the lake, clouds, stars, perfect sunset view and waterfowl floating and flying by. Not suitable for children, available for two adults only.
