About Diana Araimo

Alberto, was born in Milano, Diana was born in Napoli, a good blend of Italian flavours, North and South together. The both of us were Managers in Multinational Companies in Operations and Purchasing myself , and Commercial and Marketing Diana, before starting this new life in hospitality.

Alberto loves to talk about economics and is passionate of Sudoku. Diana is graduate in Italian Letterature, is a fantastic chef and an heavy reader. Our Houses are full of book in Italian, English and different languages. Some are a kind present from our past Guests.

We love people and good companies, we love good food and good wine. Both of us are Sommelier.

We own and rent apartments and villa in Spoleto in our Historic House le Logge di Silvignano and this cosy Apartment in Roma.

We own our Apartment in Roma since 1999, when we married after 6 year of life in common. It was our “nest” in Roma, where to hide coming back from our business trips around Europe, busy and stressed managers. Meanwhile, we began the restoration of our Historic House of Le Logge di Silvignano in Spoleto, our big project for our future life together.

The restoration was completed in 2002, we began to live and manage our Hospitality business in Silvignano, sometimes moving to Roma for a visit to our daughter and grandchildren.

Then, our Guests of Le Logge di Silvignano (often turned into good friends) asked us to make them available our Apartment and we are now glad to do the same for couples who can appreciate and respect our “nest”.

Diana Araimo purchased this apartment in 1999

Guestbook comments from the owner

Dear Diana,

I have been meaning to write to tell you how perfect everything was in the apartment, and particularly to thank you for your "accueil chaleureux" when we arrived. It was so nice to have someone waiting for us when we arrived and to explain everything and make us feel at home. Also, to have left us the essentials for breakfast, and particularly the gluten-free!, was a great help.

I would love to come again and I also have been dreaming about coming to Spoleto....... to visit you at Le Logge di Silvignano Historic House. I certainly feel like I need something like that . What about in July and August?

Do let me know when you decide to come to Paris in September - I'd be happy to meet up and welcome you to my home - it's in central Paris, just near the Eiffel Tower, so very easy to get to.

I hope that you have a good summer - warm regards to you both

Stella and Adrian

PS TripAdvisor have been hassling me to write a review. I find them very invasive and am not very keen to enter into their world, and as you have 100% 5 star reviews, I hope that my failure to respond to their insistent emails does not matter in any way.

Like Staying at good friend's home indeed!

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is perfect for two, provided of everithings you need and more. Furnished at very high standard, with comfortable space on cosy terrace for dining outside. Our host Diana was fantastic in providing us with plenty of information about restaurants, markets, places to visit both in the premises and in the most important areas of the city. The house is located in a very convenient area of the city, quiet and with the real athmosphere of the Roma popular quarters, but very close to Trastevere and the historic center, that you can reach in a few fast tram stops. We will come back should we have a new opportunity of visiting Roma. To be recommended.

Charming and well located!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is charming, clean, well-maintained and well-located with a large market across the street and an easy ride by tram into Rome. It is located on a quiet street. The listing description is very accurate. The owner met us at the apartment and was very informative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and relatives.

Amazing Service

  • 5 of 5

My husband surprised me for Christmas by giving me a two week trip to Italy which had been on my bucket list for years. Not knowing the language and spending hours and hours searching the website I come upon this beautiful apartment in the Trastevere area of Rome and as a bonus the owners spoke good English. The language barrier was one of my main concerns. We e-mailed back and forth with Diana and she was always extremely helpful and quick to respond. When we arrived she was there to greet us and spent at least an hour showing us around the apartment and then taking us on a tour of the neighborhood to show us bus connections and places close by for pizza, gelato and the bakery. Tony's gelato was the very best we had in the two weeks we were in Italy by the way!

Diana and Alberto helped us get train tickets, told us how to navigate the train station and let us know when we should hire a guide for different sites and when we didn't need to. We were so impressed with the service they provided. We are sure they get many repeat customers since they are such wonderful hosts. We truly can't say enough about how much they helped make our trip so memorable!
