Furthermore, the food is superb. Cape Town has many an amazing restaurant these are our favourites: Carne, Savoy Cabbage, La Perla, La Colombe, Harbour House Kalkbay, Sevruga, Beluga, Deer Park Eatery, Paranga, to name a few.
De Waterkant Village itself is very locally situated with the Cape Quarter 3mins walk away here you will find clothing boutiques, a high quality super market as well as clubs, restaurants and bars in the area. Its an good idea to just relax in the area for a few days.
For shopping the Waterfront has most designer brands as well as local stores and crafts. Green Market Square is an excellent choice to get a feel for African arts as well as a sense of what the inner city is like. The Biscuit Mill in Woodstock is a favourite amongst locals.
