Great Place - exactly as the pictures show !!
We stayed at this property for a week at the start of August for a friend's birthday. The house is beautiful and the photos simply don't do this two storey modern, clean, spacious but cozy home justice. Our group of three couples had more than enough room and the house is packed with all the amenities you could need for your stay. The shower in the master suite is amazing and the deck was a great bonus
Amy the owner was really helpful from the first point of contact, we were travelling from the UK so perhaps had more questions than you might expect but throughout she was so helpful to us from transport advice to restaurant recommendations and even whilst we were staying at the property she was available to help
The house is in a lovely location with great public transport within minutes walk of the house. Its in a lovely quiet neighbourhood but with supermarkets within a 10 minute walk - Whole Foods down on Stanyan Street opposite the park orArguello deli round the corner from the house.
With one bus ride we could reach so much of the city - including downtown, the Marina, Hayes Valley, the Painted Ladies at Alamo Park, and so many others we didn't have time to try.
Hayes Valley - 10 minutes away on the 21 bus is a lovely neighbourhood with plenty of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants - perfect for a leisurely Sunday brunch.
Golden Gate Park is within an easy 5-10 minute walk and the Conservatory of Flowers is spectacular as are the surrounding parklands.
I'd recommend this property to any group travelling to San Francisco and if we come back I'll certainly be checking to see if its available.
