I am a design enthusiast and took great pride in rehabbing this property.
The Owner purchased this house in 2005
I absolutely love this location as it is in the center of the city - minutes from GG Park, the Upper Haight, vibrant NoPa and Presidio/Laurel Heights.
Staying in a home rather than an apartment affords a much quieter/secluded experience (no neighbors above or below you highlighting flaws in thin SF insulation).
The home was beautiful, it had everything, good location. Amy was so nice and helpful, we would love to stay there again. Thank You.
Loved the place. It worked very well for us, in terms of layout, location, and atmosphere. Would gladly stay there again. In addition, the owner's daughter was most helpful and quick to respond to questions, etc.
This place was spectacular....It was the perfect size and offered a great atmosphere, especially the porch outside and the fireplace in the downstairs bedroom. The pictures are 100% accurate in describing what the home looks like.
I stayed here with four adults and it was more than enough room. Highly recommend. There is a place around the corner called the Twilight Café that I discovered too late that has soda, beer, pastries, etc. and is only open during the week so be sure to check that out too. It was close to Haight St. and Golden Gate park....Super convenient. All in all, a great stay!
We are French and, after a long flight, we appreciated such a beautiful and clean house. We loved the "French" gifts (Thanks a lot Amy !) . We stayed 3 days and we (parents and 3 young adults) enjoyed everything in Amy's house. The location was perfect : near all the main places to see and especially GC Park.
If we come back we'll stay here again.
We stayed for 6 nights with the 5 of us (2 adults, 3 urchins) and had a great time. Everything was ready and equipped and the location 3 blocks from GG park was perfect. Nicely done wood floors and updated and a nice private patio in the back make this an exceptional find. Walking distance to the academy of science museum and the de young. Would rent again SF is a great place to visit.
We had a family of 6 staying here and it could not have been more perfect! We loved having 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms for our group and everything was just as nice as the photos! We used the Muni bus system to get around town, and it was a very easy walk to nearby bus stops. We highly recommend this home! Amy was easy to work with and quick to respond to emails and questions. San Fran is a great city and it was lovely to stay here and feel like a local. It's also a great location to explore the park! We rented segways from a local company for a couple hours and had a blast!
