This property is in the heart of the beautiful village of Skaneateles, N.Y. It is directly across the street from the Old Stone Mill on Fennel Street which is considered the downtown district. It offers a condo style feel because of the location but the size is larger than most homes with 3600 square feet of living space. Just by simply walking across the street you can start shopping in all of the wonderful boutiques in town or have breakfast, lunch or dinner in all of the fantastic dining choices within the village. The best part is that the entire village is right in front of you! The lake is only 1/2 block away if you want to sit by the water and relax and read a book, swim or fish. Everything is at your fingertips!

Home Exterior Details: This home is newly constructed in 2010. It is a cape style home with grey shingles and it has the look and feel of being right on Cape Cod. The home is not on the lake but the front porch has lake views. There is off street parking for two vehicles. The home is situated in the downtown district of Skaneateles, NY directly across from the Old Stone Mill. It has a trendy feel and you are literally right across the street from shopping, dining and within a 1/2 a block from beautiful Skaneateles Lake.

Home Interior Details: This home is truly like no other in the area. The home boasts 3600 square feet of newly constructed living space over three levels. It's furnishings are refined and comfortable. There are two kitchens in the main and lower levels. The kitchen on the main level has beautiful granite countertops and the kitchen on the lower level has beautiful quartz countertops. There are 4 1/2 bathrooms in this home over three levels. All bathrooms have beautiful marble tile showers. There is an impressive 6 bedrooms as well all with spacious closets. All closets including the pantry were designed by California Closets. There are partial lake views from the main level, master bedroom as well as the second level, master bedroom.

We reside in Chittenango, N.Y. and have a beautiful 9 year old son. We love to vacation as much as our schedules allow. We enjoy sitting by the lake and reading a good book, swimming, fishing and dining in all of the wonderful restaurants in Skaneateles and Auburn.

This home is our favorite because it feels like we are in the absolute perfect location to enjoy everything the beautiful village of Skaneateles has to offer. We can walk everywhere and not have to worry at all about even getting in our car at all. The village has everything you need, fantastic shopping, dining and one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.

What makes this house unique

Having the village at our fingertips. We are able to walk everywhere and that's what we enjoy. We have lake views from our home and we can literally walk right out our door and be at the lake in two minutes! It's a perfect location!

The wonderful finger lakes region is second to none in offering vacationers a wide variety of activities. Skaneateles Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the world. The home is located just a 1/2 block away from the lake for swimming, fishing or just to sit and read a book. You can also literally just walk across the street for all the shopping and dining in Skaneateles that you can handle. It's also only 4 miles away from the Merry-Go-Round Theater and Emerson Park in Auburn. There is also rich history in Auburn like the Harriet Tubman House and the Seward House. Let's not forget the fingerlakes wine trail. Anyela's is the first winery on Skaneateles Lake and it's only a short drive away.

Awesome property

We rented this house for the week of my daughter's graduation from Syracuse University. We visited Skaneateles over parents weekend last year and fell in love with the town. The house was perfectly located and beautiful. We were comfortable and extremely happy staying at this house. We will be back again for sure...everything was awesome! I would highly recommend it to other parents traveling in for Syracuse graduation. It was an easy drive, beautiful location, great restaurants, amazing setting and a perfect vacation house. Thank you!

Wonderfully large house in the heart of town!

Beautifully updated home in the heart of Skaneateles! This house is wonderful for a large group of people or multiple families because of the number of bedrooms and baths. Walk to everything in downtown Skaneateles. And the owner is extremely helpful, attentive and accomodating! What more could you ask for?
