"We were absolutely delighted by the location & the condo at Horizontes del Mar, on Playa Langosta, the beautiful beach. Everything to do with the condo is top notch, appliances, bedding, furniture & decor. The two bedrooms and 2 ½ bath accommodations for four are perfect. Kitchen, dining and living room area is beautiful & lends itself to be the gathering point, with plenty of counter space for prep work while talking to family around the bar area. The terrace faces the beach, overlooking the pool, and for the two months of December and January the sun set beautifully in an uninterrupted view. The pool & patio area is equally nice as are the grounds, all adjacent to the beach 20 meters away. Within the approximately mile walk (by road or the beach) to the “town" of Tamarindo there are neighborhood restaurants, bars, stores & hotels all interesting and fun. In Tamarindo there is more food shopping, more restaurants & the souvenir shops, some better than others but all with a heavy surfer theme. Day trips to volcanoes, local fiestas, rainforests, zip lines, whitewater rafting & horseback riding in the mountains/ beach are all nearby. But spending the day at Horizontes del Mar on the condo’s terrace or poolside or beach walking will be your favorite activity. The waves are great for the surf crowd, the beach is a shell collectors dream and the views from the condo encourage relaxation. Pura Vida is all about Playa Langosta and Horizontes del Mar see it for yourself and understand what the phrase really means."
