This recently renovated modern apartment is located very centrally to Munich. It is in a quiet neighborhood allowing you to rest and relax in peace. The apartment is very bright with big windows facing west and a relaxing view over a large courtyard - plenty of sky and sunsets can be enjoyed from the balcony.
The flat is ideal for both business people or couples / families. Children are also welcome - children's books, toys and teddies are also available.
Recently decorated, the bamboo wooden floor provides you with a warm atmosphere. The high quality leather furniture together with solid wood tables and cupboards add to the decore. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, clothes washer, fridge and freezer allows you to cook and clean as if you were at home.... ummm. but it's pretty useful having a good kitchen, especially for longer stays. Espresso machine, toaster, microwave, kettle are also available as is a full crockery and sets of cutlery.
The lounge with it's big sofa is more than relaxing. The Hifi boxes can be connected to any laptop or iPod. Wireless internet is provided - WLAN - and is easy to connect. Telephone flat rate within Germany is also included. TV on request.
The bedroom is spacious and very quiet. The blinds can also be rolled down if you prefer true darkness. The quality king size bed (180x200cm) is extremely comfortable as is the adjacent single bed. There is plenty of room for storage and hanging clothes.
Bed linen is provided.
The bathroom is modern and fully tiled. The shower is easy to use.
Less than 5 minutes walk to train station and main (U+S) tube stations. There is also a selection of buses which all stop close by.
Whether wanting to test the local nightlife, visit a restaurant with top food and atmosphere, see culture or the Isar parklands, you are within easy reach of all - by only 15 mins.

All in all a great choice - very quiet, yet within in shouting distance of all the action you may want! Smoking is not allowed in the flat- But you can enjoy a cigarette on the balcony if you wish. Iron and ironing board in the cupboard. Parking no problem - it's free. No tickets or car registration ID needed.

Chris's apartment was very convenient for us, a retired couple and our adult daughter. It was clean, bright and quiet. He left helpful directions. The apt. is sited five minutes walk from the UBahn, which took us into town in thre stops.
We were happy with our choice, and would be hppy to ask for it again if we return to Munich.

I booked this apartment many months in a advance and I took my family to Oktoberfest. The flat is fantastic, it has all appliance that you need. Very comfortable beds and lots of space.
Great location and very close to the tube, but as its was so close to the centre and Oktoberfest we walk everywhere.

Terrific flat in a centrally-located neighborhood. I work on the road and the wi-fi access was perfect. The subway is only a five-minute walk and only a couple stops to the town center. We had three little kids, and while a little tight, it worked out fine. There's a small park in the back with a swing set and the 3-year old appreciated the stuffed lions and other toys there. There's a 24-hour gas station with some essentials just a block away and a grocery store and pharmacy is just up the block with several bakeries to get your morning bread rush. Highly recommended. Chris' house rules and recommendations were helpful and the neighbors were also very kind.
A nice and cosy apartment in a residential area. You will find everything you need there, and the supermarket is just around the corner. The host is very helpful and responsive. We look forward to coming back!

We stayed at Chris' apartment during Oktoberfest and it was a real pleasure. Not only was it extremely comfortable, it was in a very convenient location - very close to the nearest train station which is only a few stops from central station. There were five of us and we still had more than enough room. Also, having a kitchen and laundry facilities made the apartment a home away from home!
Chris was a wonderful host. He assisted us in every way possible as we were arriving at an inconvenient time. He was very contactsble right up until out stay. He was very helpful in pointing out local places to visit and ways of getting there. We wish we could have stayed longer!
This appt was exactly as expected. The apartment was very quiet, comfortable and in a safe neighborhood, spotlessly clean and enough space for a 3 yr old to play. Really close to subway, at the end of the street, and supermarket, chemist and small fruit shop around the corner.
Chri was a friendly host, who met us on arrival and provided info on transport and things to do. He kindly left some toys in the appt for our son to play with and it was much appreciated. He also provided some milk and cooking essentials which were really handy.
It's a lovely place, lots of thoughtful extras... espresso, bottle opener, laundry soap... Sweet, personal calendar on the wall in the kitchen; it felt like home to me.
PERFECT location for me... close to the city proper, but with a more personal/residential feel. Fun watching people going about their business in the courtyard, tending to flowers, grilling, enjoying the beautiful Munich summer. (We have 40 degrees and humid as all get-out at home right now; not missing that!)

Chris was a very nice person and his apt was very nice and comfortable to stay. The apt was close to metro and it was very convenient to visit various places in and around Munich. We were 2 adults and 2 teen kids for 3 days and 2 nights in the apt. Chris let us keep our luggage in his loft since our train arrived much earlier than the check-in time. He was a great host and recommend his apt to anyone visiting Munich.
My wife, two teenagers and I rented Chris' Munich apartment earlier this month for a week. We all felt at home in the apartment and enjoyed having the additional elbow room which only the priciest hotel suites can afford. One of my main reasons for selecting Chris' place was its proximity to the city center via multiple transportation options. The U-Bahn and S-Bahn are literally a 5 minute walk up the street. The U-bahn gets you to Marienplatz in literally 15 minutes door to door. While the apartment's proximity to the S-Bahn tracks was initially a concern, the apartment faces the rear courtyard and I can honestly say I never heard the train from within the apartment.

My apartment is special since it within 10 mins of the center, but within a typical munich suberb where you can shop with the locals and escape the tourist scene if you wish. Very quiet and relaxed, but excellent tube, bus and train connections within 5 minute walk. Free parking if you have a car / no residence permit rules.

Chris was very helpful and easy to work with. He was prompt about returning emails, giving me explanations of how to get the key, find the laundry, and offering suggestions about area restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. The location is good, a quick 5 minute walk from the Haras station. Also easy walk to Edeka grocery and ATMs. The apartment was quiet and we slept well each night. It was a good size for me and my teenager, and was also fine when my husband joined us for a couple nights. I've rented apartments before and realize they aren't hotels that provide supplies; if you're a first time renter it's always a good idea to bring along some toilet paper, paper towels, soap, your own toiletries, laundry soap, etc to get by until you can get to the store. This apartment has beautiful wood floors so of course he doesn't want them walked on with shoes. We brought along slippers to wear after leaving our shoes at the door. The wifi was easy to connect to and worked great. We felt safe in the apartment and in the surrounding area. I would rent this apartment again and be happy to answer questions other perspective renters might have.
Get some 50 coins if you want to use the dryer in the basement.
Bring along a apartment starter kit to get you through until you can get to the store.
Preview Munich metro system online to check the Haras stop-you'll see it's quite easy and quick to get to city center.

The saving grace of this apartment was the location, very close to the train station leading to central Munich within a few stops.
The disappointments were several, having just spent time in 3 wonderful 2 bedroom apartments in Germany, Nuremberg and Salzberg, with helpful hosts who charged less and provided much more. This was the only owner who also held a damage deposit, and the refund was considerably reduced with wire transfer fees,etc. He advertised a 2 bedfoom apt which is actually 1bedroom sleeping three, plus a sofa in the living room on which you pile a mattress . Duvets were not really clean, personal clothing and supplies were throughout the place, so we lived 4 days out of our suitcases and picnicked in the kitchen tryhing not to disturb his supplies. He said at the last minute he would not be there to meet us, the key was under the mat, and we were on our own trying to get a neighbour to let us into the locked building front door. We were told not to use the phone line, which we did not need anyway. We were treated shoddily and gouged financially by an elusive landlord we never laid eyes on.
