One of the best locations at Carolina Beach, The beach in the front and the lake in back. Second floor with a covered deck with a great view of the beach and ocean. Close to paddle boats and free Sunday movies all at the lake. Just a short walk to the center of town for your shopping needs and the amusement rides (summer only) the board walk and the best donuts you can find. (Britts Donuts) Two well known fishing piers on the island along with a wonderful marina with many charter boats. Fireworks every Thursday evening, Condo features AC /Heat , Washer / Dryer Kitchen has tile flooring and wall to wall carpet through out the unit.. Master bedroom has King size bed( new mattress) with a great view to the ocean , sliding glass door to the deck , second bedroom has 2 Twin beds, The living room has plenty of seating with a great view to the ocean sliding glass door . A sofa bed.TV, VCR, DVD player and stereo. we have internet connection available. A small splash pool & outdoor grill.

Carolina Beach is the ideal area for your Vacation. It's a short distance to the Historic city of Wilmington, and the USS North Carolina Battle Ship. Great shopping, and the Newly renovated board walk at the Cape fear River. There are too many Golf course's to list, but several are close to the beach.Pleasure Island Carolina Beach is also home to one of NC State parks and the NC Aquarium also the Historic Ft Fisher Civil War Battle grounds, There are two Boat ramps for access to the ICW and Cape Fear River and one shallow ramp for kayak's and small boats.There is also two area's of beach where you can drive on for fishing or day Camping. We also have two Fishing piers One on the North end of Carolina Beach and the other at the Center of Kure Beach.Just a Block away, we have the lake, with a paved walkway and Paddle boats . Also free movies at the lake on Sunday evening , Just bring your beach chairs and enjoy the movie. Fireworks on Thursday evening at the beach .

    Rentals are subject to State sale tax and local county tax , currently totaling 13%. ALL Condos/ Hotels/ Motels must charge this Tax. Required by the State and County.
    Rental CHECK-IN Saturday AT 2PM / CHECK-OUT Saturday AT 11AM
    Deposit required at time of booking.

Notes: Newly remodled, A Home Away from Home atmosphere. With quality NEW mattresses in both bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen. And a very relaxing living room, ample seating for every one. With TV,DVD,VCR,CD player & stereo.The dining area has a large glass table that seats six ,The ocean front Deck (porch) Has a rail high table with four rail high chairs and a lounge chair. There are three Tv sets (1in the living room & one in each Bedroom). There are Beach Chairs in the locker in the parking area along with toys & boogie boards for the chirldren and umbrella . There is a small splash pool for the kids to play, with seating along the wall There are several lounge chairs for sunning at the pool deck. Two outdoor charcoal grills and a wooden picnic table. Also an outdoor shower to wash away the sand. The walkway to the beach is adjacent to the north building (601). The off street assigned parking is a plus, 2 cars fit easily in this space.

Loved this beach property!

I can't say enough good things about this beach property as well as the owners, Don & Gloria. My mother and I, after losing my father late last year, really needed to get away to somewhere beautiful as well as tranquil, and this definitely was the place. It was a beautiful property inside and out and I can't say enough about the view. I have a picture of it as a screen saver on my office computer :).

I also needed to bring my cat, Cleo, because she has health problems and most of the properties would only allow dogs, Don & Gloria said it was no problem at all. I was most thankful for that. I hadn't been to the beach in such a long time because no one would let me bring her. Didn't realize how much I had missed it. I'll definitely be going again next year. Can't wait. Thank you!

We have stayed up and down the Pleasure Island coast, and this condo was by far the nicest and cleanest! Everything that you need is right there, the owners are WONDERFUL to deal with, and the location is perfect. Our family is picky in regards to how clean places are and we have NO complaints about 2D. The building is quiet and we didn't have to worry about noise from the condo on the above floor--even though it was occupied. Being able to walk across the street to the Veggie Wagon was most convenient....as well as walking around the lake every morning and evening. Four thumbs up!

Wonderful, Restful Beach Condo

We were fortunate to have the opportunity to stay at Don & Gloria's condo at Carolina Beach over Memorial Day weekend. Coffee on the balcony in the morning while listening to the waves crash against the shore was so relaxing. We found the condo to be very comfortable and welcoming, and it had everything you would need. Great extra benefit to not have to pack beach chairs, umbrellas and wake boards, as they make them available in the storage closet. The beach access is right next to the building, and it couldn't have been a nicer spot to relax and enjoy the beach. The condo was clean, well stocked with dishes, etc., and exactly like it was described in the ad. It's a fun spot that is well located so you can walk to a lot of local restaurants, etc., if you want to. Farmer's market at the lake across the street on Saturday was a lot of fun, too. We'll definitely go back again.

Homey- Wonderful View

We had a wonderful stay in this very clean condo. It was even warm enough to go out on the beach in our bathing suits, which I did not expect for early October. The owners responded to my e-mails and questions very thoroughly and quickly. It was so easy to work with them.

When I visit Carolina Beach, I usually go with a group, and we all get a house together. I was worried about noise and neighbors staying in a condo, but it was no problem at all. There were people staying in units above, below, and next to us, and I did not hear a peep from anyone inside or even out on the balcony.

The view of the ocean is wonderful. There are no dunes to get in your way. You can clearly see the water.

Everything was as promised. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Carolina Beach area.

Wonderful oasis!

This condo was the PERFECT off-season getaway. I surprised my mom with a tirp to the beach for her birthday and every thing was so nice. The weather was absolutely perfect. . .not cold, but hot enough to enjoy the water. The unit was cleaned and well-stocked. Any and everything you might need is already there. We missed the fireworks and the movies on the beach because it was off-season, but there were still plenty shops and restaurants open to pass the time. Bowman's, Michael's and Britt's all live up their reputations. Best seafood (and donuts) we've had in a while. Although it was before the time when dogs are allowed on the beach, the dog seemed to enjoy sitting on the deck watching the ocean as much as we did. And lake/park across the street was a nice place to get his exercise. The wi-fi connection was a breeze. Transacting business with Gloria and Don was also easy and hassle-free. Have already recommended this property to friends and we'll be back ourselves soon!
