Westhampton Beach Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Summer at gorgeous beaches
Simplicity, joy, big open skies and the sea. Come and discover the authentic Hampton's spirit of a time gone by - with all modern conveniences. Swim the grand beaches, walk to town, bicycle among the mansions and celebrate the endless summer.
Ours is an authentic, lovingly restored Hampton's summer cottage. We took much care to preserve it's original charm and feel, while adding the modern conveniences (such as a brand new dishwasher) that you would expect.
The ample front lawn is a great place to play croquet or throw a baseball. The marsh across the street is protected, affording you a lovely, unobstructed view.
Our screened porch invites you to lounge and read the Sunday paper, and to stage delicious family meals.
Enjoy the generous backyard, framed by a large stand of bamboo, to sun-bath, grill, or watch the kids delight when they discover the secret door of the playhouse.
The rooms in the house are well sized and comfortable. If it is not too hot, you can light a fire in the stove and enjoy it's warmth and play.
The house easily sleeps six in two bedrooms. It features one bathroom. You can also take an outdoor shower, which is a fantastic treat and makes managing the bathroom easy.
Our cottage is well located: we are a one minute drive from Roger's Beach (subject to availability of beach passes), or a scenic 10 minute drive from Pike and Cupsogue Beach, all well kept and offering ocean waves and lifeguards.
Two houses down the road from ours you will find a lovely marina with beautiful views over the bay. Enjoy a stroll along it's piers, watch the boats, spot egrets, and for the venturesome, launch a kayak and explore the bay.
During the summer season you'll find a lovely stand selling fresh local fruits, vegetables and flowers nearby on Library Avenue. Walk a little further to lively Westhampton Village with it's fashionable shops, restaurants and cafes. Watch people parade their fancy cars and enjoy a cup of coffee at the Beach Bakery, the mingling spot in town. At the night the town is hopping with live music and leisurely window shopping.
In keeping with the original Hampton's spirit the house is not winterized, but the new, sturdy wood stove will keep you warm in the spring and fall.

I'm originally from Germany, but I live in New York City since more than 20 years. I work in media finance, am happily married and have two wonderful children. This is our second home, which we have recently bought and are very excited about.
Charm, close to beach and town. Enjoy having a lovely WHB house all to yourself at a great price.
Take our kayak, conveniently stored at the marina, for a spin on the bay.
