Ours is a luxury townhouse-stye condo in a gated, very quiet and peaceful development - Kulalani. Our property is very close to the development's private recreation area that is one of the finest in the area featuring a large lagoon pool (with keiki pool), a lap pool, two hot tubs, and a well-equipped and air conditioned exercise facility.
We are close to two championship golf courses, fantastic beaches are a short drive away, and we have access to very nice restaurants. A very well-stocked grocery store a short walk or ride away. Our property has a large covered lanai on main floor with a gas BBQ with an outside kitchen. A covered lanai is also located on second floor off the master bedroom suite. Both lanai's have patio furniture, are in shade most of the day and are protected from the wind.
Access to Mauna Lani Beach Club is included with rental. We have provided a variety of adult and children's beach toys, including boogy boards, chairs and umbrellas. Surf boards and paddle boards can be rented at the beach club.

It truly was Home Sweet Home... away from home! Beautiful condo...very inviting, & as previously mentioned...well kept, spacious & amazingly stocked with everything you need. Loved the area & conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, beaches & adventure. The cooler was great for beach & road trips. The private beach club had the best snorkelling & was an enjoyable place to hang out. The owners responded to any of our questions immediately before arriving & made us feel that they were just a phone call away if we needed anything. We had the time of our life...boogie boarding, snorkelling, paddle boarding, manta ray snorkel, volcano, observatory, sight seeing, surfing... we almost did it all...can't wait to return! Highly recommend this property & already have. Next time we will stay longer!!! Mahalo for a wonderful place to spend our vacation!
We've been to the Mauna Lani area many times but this was the first time for this rental. Everything was exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious, well stocked. We were not left wanting for anything in the kitchen. Ceiling fans in the dining and sitting areas downstairs, second bedroom, and sitting area of main bedroom. There is not a ceiling fan above the master bed. The private beach is the best, and it is gracious of the hosts to provide beach equipment including an ice chest. One of the recent reviews dinged the decor, but we found it quite adequate and enjoyed some of the Africa touch. Especially enjoyed the zebra and giraffe masks in the master bath. The parking is literally steps away from the entrance to the unit, so the fact that the garage had the owners items in it was no issue. Appreciated the drying rack to dry towels and suits on the upper terrace without having to hang laundry over the balcony or string our own line. Htet was responsive and helpful prior to our travel, and as stated, everything was as advertised so we had no cause to contact anyone while we were there, we just enjoyed everything. We would recommend to anyone looking for their own nice place to stay in Mauna Lani.
My husband and I have stayed at this condo twice in the last couple of years and we love it! Htet Htet is extremely professional and responsive to questions and booking.
The condo is spacious, well kept, clean, and a perfect home base. The kitchen is well stocked, and the grill was perfect for easy and delicious meals. The private beach club that comes with this condo is fantastic - pretty, not crowded, with a great beach bar/restaurant. The pool is also spacious and a great way to spend the afternoon!
Very close to the Mauna Lani shops (for groceries, shopping and restaurants), and a short drive to the Waikoloa Beach area where there are more shops and restaurants.
For the price/location/amenities, this condo is a great choice!
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Kulalani (different condo each time) and we have never been disappointed, there is nothing wrong with this place at all. If you prefer to be beachfront and know exactly what furniture you will have in your rental, book your vacation at the Marriott. Spend double the amount on your nightly fee and buy all your meals at a restaurant. Trust me, unless you can eat at Subway 5 days a week it is not cheap to eat at good restaurants in Hawaii. Costco and great local grocery stores are within minutes to pick up whatever you feel like grilling for supper each night. Otherwise there are fantastic restaurants within minutes of this condo. The pool facilities at the condo complex are equivalent to 5 star all inclusive resorts except you never have to compete for a lounger to relax on. I'd recommend this condo to anyone.
My family and i stayed at this property during the holidays. Although the property is clean and spacious, we did not like the decor and generally found the space to lack sufficient natural light. We didn't think the furniture in the living room was comfortable for lounging and was overall uninviting, to us. We were disappointed to find that the rental did not include use of bikes and water equipment - all on full display in the garage but off limits. The bikes were placed in the rear of the owners' pick-up truck, which takes up the entire garage. Further, we used the pool only once because the water was cold. The fact that we had to drive to the beach made the experience less desirable. We would much prefer to stay at a beachfront property. Lastly, we were not pleased that after we lost the pool key and were charged a hefty $75.00 replacement fee (to which we did not object), the owners also charged us $100.00 as their cost for having their housekeeper get the key. We expected that a well managed property would have multiple keys on hand for the eventual lost key. Needless to say, we would not stay at this property again and cannot recommend it to others.
This unit was beautiful!! Everything was fully stocked and there was more than enough of everything for our needs!! I had a couple questions and requests and spoke to the housekeeper, Kelsie, and she was beyond helpful :)
