The town dock has a float and ladder which is a very popular swimming spot for vacationers and locals with a small coastal beach area for wading and is a great place for mackerel and stripper fishing. The East Boothbay General Store is only a ¼ mile from you, an old fashioned general store with the modern conveniences of LATTES! The famous Ocean Point loop is only a 4 mile drive from this property and is not to be missed. Kids big and little love to picnic here on the rocks, enjoying the views of local fishermen, lighthouses, flocking seagulls, ducks, loons and the occasional passing seal.
The owners of the property are not just renting you a home but are here to help you make the most of your vacation in the region. Having both grown up in the area they have a great knowledge of the many opportunities it has to offer. They will meet you upon your arrival and make sure you are settled in and that you have everything you need to have the best vacation experience, and throughout your stay are only a phone call away to answer any questions that you may have. They also have a boat and are willing to take you on a one hour cruise around the region if you are interested. Also when you arrive at your cabin you will be given a three ring binder full of opportunities that the region has to offer such as boat trips, island visits , lighthouse tours, kayak and bike rental information as well as lots of great small town shops that are must-sees. The Department of Marine Resources Aquarium and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens are also places that shouldn’t be missed. If you are a golfer, the Boothbay Harbor Country Club has been renovated and promises to be one of the most amazing courses on the Maine coast.

Andrew and his family have grown up in Boothbay. He and his wife both graduated from Boothbay Region High School, went off to college and chose to come back and raise a family here. After 20 years in the commercial fishing industry and being active on many local boards and helping with many local organizations and events they have gained a knowledge of area and opportunities the region as to offer. They are more than happy to share and pass along any of their knowledge with you during your stay here in the area. Two things that the owners enjoy are meeting people and spending time in their boat. If your schedule permits they are happy to take you for a 1 hour tour of the area by boat.

Originally this custom built log cabin was the retirement home of the former owners of the world renown Three Crowns Restaurant in New York City. The property was left to the current owners in 2009. They would like to think because of their deep love for the area.
