A Great Get Away

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Wild Winds. The cottage is located on a wooded hill overlooking Wequas Lake. The setting was peaceful and relaxing. We woke to the sound of the breeze in the trees, walked on trails through the woods, fished, and enjoyed the large deck. The kids spent hours playing at the beach and building sand castles. Wild Winds is a great place to get away from it all. Yet, we also took advantage of activities in Gaylord and made the hour drive to Mackinaw for a day trip. Rokko, the owner, is kind and friendly.
Junior Cottage was clean, comfy, and offered rustic charm and character. The living area has plenty of seating. All three bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to keep up with our family for the week. A nice gas grill was provided as well. The cottage is in the shade virtually all day which was great on hot July days.
All of our family members agree that we would love to visit Wild Winds again in the future. Thanks Rokko!
