OCEANFRONT STUDIO #623- SPECTACULAR VIEWS -FILL IN SPECIAL 6/3-6/12 $185/NIGHT/

We were immediately impressed with this condo when we walked in. It was extremely spacious and everything was recently updated to a high standard. A place like this back home would've cost us at least double! We couldn't believe the value we were getting. The view alone was worth the money-- huge sliding doors leading to a private lanai with a view of the island of Lanai. Our first night we watched the sunset while sipping drinks on our balcony, and it was probably my favorite moment of our entire vacation. The condo was immaculate, and was full of touches that you wouldn't find in a hotel room. We definitely appreciated the cooler and beach towels that were provided when we took the Road to Hana one day. We also made use of the iHome while sitting on our lanai. The shower was even great- we both talked about how we wished we could bring it home with us. It was great to have wi-fi available to us for no cost (although there was some miscommunication between the owner and the Lahaina Shores staff as far as who had the password to connect). I appreciated the easy dealings with the owner-- she was honest about the fact that the pool and hot tub were going to be resurfaced while we were there and that it wouldn't be available to us. She gave us a deal on the unit because of this fact without us even asking for it, but it didn't really even bother us. A gorgeous beach on the property was just steps away- who needs a pool? We really liked the area too. It was a good spot to explore the rest of the island. Although the immediate surroundings of Lahaina Shores were perhaps a little shady, once you walk just a couple blocks you are in the shops and restaurants of Front Street. We walked there every night for supper and to look around for souvenirs. I would highly recommend the prime rib at Kimo's-- it was the best thing I've ever eaten in my life! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to other couples.
