The property is located one minute from the metro Sevres Babylone, and the building also hosts the Hermes fashion boutique.
The property is composed of a living room with sofa-bed (120cm wide so smaller than a regular double and best for 2 children or just 1 adult), dining area, kithen with all cooking and eating amenities.
The bedroom has a queen size bed and the bathroom is en suite – the TV is located in the bedroom.
The bathroom has a bath with shower and sink.
The toilet is next to the entrance hall of the apartment.
The apartment is on the first floor with an elevator. Please note that the apartment is level with the first floor courtyard so people do walk past the apartment windows.
The telephone has free calls to most European and North American landlines.
The flat screen TV has cable TV + DVD player (European DVD’s)and is located in the bedroom.
Close to rue du Bac and the Bon Marche this area is ideal for boutique shopping in St Germain, and ideal for visiting Paris and staying on the left bank.
Metro Sevres Babylone is across the road and the many buses take you to every area in Paris.
You are about 10mns walk to Boulevard Saint Germain, and a few minutes from the boutiques of St Germain and a few minutes to the Bon Marche department store with the finest gourmet food hall in Paris, and just step or take the elevator downstairs to browse the latest Hermes scarves.
There are 9 buses steps from the building taking you directly to all the sites. From the apartment you can walk to the Musee D'Orsay or the Louvres or hop on a bus for a few stops. Buses in the vicinity: 87-94-63-39-70-84-68
You are close to The Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal a chapel on rue du Bac, revered by Catholics as the site of three apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1830.

The apartment was quite spacious, comfortable, secure and clean. Everything was as described. The location was perfect and we could walk to most museums and sites. It was close to the metro, buses and markets (Bon Marche) for food. Lots of cafes, bistros, etc nearby. And of course, great shopping. Having an elevator is also a great feature. I would stay there again.
From the very beginning when the agent met us to the end of our stay (which they graciously extended one night) our stay at rue de Sevres was delightful! The agent spent almost an hour showing us everything about the apartment, how the kitchen stove/microwave worked, how the WIFI was connected, nearby recommended restaurants. Nothing was left to chance! Being situated between Courreges and Hermes was delightful as was the short walk to the lovely Bon Marche Department Store and its Grand Epicerie where one can find food and wine from all corners of the world. Neighbors were friendly and helpful and the security was so good that I had no qualms about returning late at night when my husband was out of town. The bed was very comfortable and having a TV in the bedroom was an extra treat. Everything we needed was in walking distance from wine stores to boulangeries, newspaper kiosk, groceries, etc. The lovely street rue du Cherche Midi was just a stone's throw away. Great Shoppiing! Easy walk to St. Germain and all its stores and restaurants, as well as many museums and the beautiful Jardin Luxenbourg, to me the loveliest park in Paris. We will definiately return.
Stayed here 2 weeks with my husband and son. Excellent location with very well equipped kitchen and even a washer/dryer on site. We cooked many meals there from all the great produce we bought at Le Bon Marche and Monoprix, all within walking distance. Great for shopping and sight seeing, with the Metro across the street. Being above Hermes was a plus. Mats our host was late in meeting us at the apartment on our first day but made up for it by giving us great information and even surprised us with a box of Macaroons a few days later!! Overall a great place to stay & felt like home the 2 weeks we were there. Would love to stay there again on our next visit.
The flat was perfect for us. It was at the metro for line 12 and very close to a stop for line 4; these are the two best metros for going to museums. Also, it was only two blocks from Bonne Marche's food hall where we did our shopping. We liked being able to relax in the evening in the living room.
If you want a room-with-a-view, this is not for you; since we wanted a convenient location to relax at after days of sightseeing, this fit us. We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast.
we stayed the second time and enjoyed it again very much.
The location is excellent and Shelley was very helpful and answered all of our questions.
the Tv program however could be better to include more English and German stations beyond the business channels.

We arrived very early expecting to wait to get into the apartment later in the day but all was ready and we were met at the door by a very friendly and knowledgeable representative. He explained in detail the workings of all appliances, entry details and left with us detailed maps, suggested local points of interest, shops, and grocery stores. The apartment is very quiet and secure, and we had no problems or concerns, and enjoyed our stay. It is in a very good location within walking distance of several points of interest and across the street from a subway station that gives access to most of the city.
