We stayed here in April 2013. It is a perfect location! The South Congress area is easy walking distance, downtown Austin is very close by, and its perfect for day trips to Fredericksburg, San Antonio, and the hill country. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Jim is a perfect host! I would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Simply the Best!!!

My husband & I ...along with my son & daughter-in-law rented this home located in trendy SoCo for my daughter's wedding. It was very close to the wedding venue & not far from Zilker Park (my son & his wife had tickets for Austin City Limits). We rented a car and appreciated the garage. The description of the rental is very accurate. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The home was very clean & well-maintained with updated appliances & many amenities like HDTV, WiFi, etc.

Jim, the owner is awesome! Friendly & flexible and offers great communication via cell phone or email. Jim provides many extras that other rentals don't provide like coffee, condiments, laundry detergent, softener, shampoo/conditioner, body wash etc.....very much appreciated!

My sister & her family visited the home while we were there & are definitely planning on renting for their next visit. We will most certainly rent this home for our next visit to Austin. It truly was our home away from home and we highly recommend this property! You will not be disappointed.

Absolutly Divine!

Some friends and I rented this house for Memorial Day weekend, and it was just perfect! The house itself is in immaculate condition. Every room and appliance has been kept in pristine condition. It also had literally everything that we needed included a great back yard with a grill! The neighborhood is also quite lovely, and it is located super close to the SoCo area. I truly could not have asked for a better house to rent for a weekend!

I've stayed in many different rentals and can honestly say that this rental is excellent. It is very clean, most appliances, kitchenware etc are new or recently upgraded, plenty of room and the owner is very easy to work with.
The rental is in a quiet street and the yard is also great especially if you have kids.

Jim is great to rent a vacation home from. The house was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the BBQ grill and porch. The beds are very comfortable. I would return to this property and recommend it to a family member or relative. The location is close to grocery stores, restaurants and retail shopping.
