We had an amazing experience renting this sweet little place. It was the perfect amount of space for my boyfriend and I and it really allowed us to feel like we were staying in a very comfortable home away from home. Therese was wonderful, offering us suggestions of what to do and see nearby and we really appreciated her kindness. The location is amazing - one block from a Walgreens and a Safeway, which was great to pick up little things we forgot - as well as close to so many wonderful things to do and see around the neighborhood. We absolutely loved Bernal Heights. We would highly recommend this to anyone!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the apartment and were greeted by Nelson who was very welcoming and gave us lots of info about places to see and the local neighbourhood as well as good coffee shops and the trendy upcoming areas to see. The location of the apartment was great, in a lovely neighbourhood and with easy transport links to the rest of the city.

The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. We were easily able to prepare evening meals.

we would highly recommend the apartment and will certainly stay here again if we make another trip to San Francisco.

The place was as advertised, comfortable and well-equipped. What really distinguished our stay was the graciousness and thoughtfulness of our hosts, Therese and Nelson. Our first morning while I was on a walk on the top of Bernal Heights, I received a call from Nelson telling me that I better move my car because of scheduled street cleaning. Later in the visit, I called Therese to tell her that the pilot light in the wall heater went out. Therese offered to have Nelson come and fix it immediately. Because the weather was warm and there were two space heaters, I declined. Nevertheless, at about 9:00 p.m. that same day, I received a call from Theresa to make sure that we were doing OK without the wall heater.

Lovely apartment in SF with great owner

The apartment is very well-equipped and is located in Bernal Heights, a very nice neighborhood which is great for little walks. There are all locations of daily need nearby. Up the hill behind the apartment you've got a fantastic view on the whole city and the bay. In a few minutes walk you can reach Muni and BART so you can get in the city quickly. Therese knows many great places for dinner - for example a very good Indian restaurant with an excellent Indian pizza.
Therese was very helpful and made us feel right at home! Thank you for your great hospitality!
We'll definitively come back and we would always choose this apartment!

Excellent place for your SF holiday.

My wife and I spent a week in the apartment, and we had a great time there. It is in great shape. Clean, modern, well kept and with a great vibe. It is situated in Bernal Heights, and there are several good places to eat in the area. We can especially recommend the Indian pizza place (no, really) up the road. The surrounding area is great for exercising, and Therese knows a few great laps for running. Both Therese and Nelson were very hospitable, and made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived. The neighborhood is very quiet, so no problem getting your sleep there.
While we stayed there, we also rented a car. Getting out of the city and finding our way back to Bernal Heights was very easy. Parking was not a problem either. Just make sure you follow the signs regarding street cleaning dates etc.
We fell in love with the city, and will definitely be back. When we do, we hope the apartment is available for us again, as we cannot imagine staying anywhere else. We can easily recommend this great place to anyone looking for a place to stay in San Francisco.
