LUXURY HOME, SALTWATER POOL, NEAR EL PASEO, 2011 REMODEL

My family stayed in this beautiful home for 10 days in April. We had a wonderful time - the house is perfect - so well laid out, well organized & clean, not to mention beautiful! The yard is lovely - very private and quiet. We spent many hours relaxing outside and enjoying the pool. The yard is beautifully landscaped and the views of the mountains are enchanting! It's so close to El Paseo and we were also able to get to The Living Desert in just minutes (which is was a perfect outing for our 2 year old twins)! Walking in this neighborhood is also a great activity - Ironwood park is only a 10 or 15 minute walk - also perfect for little ones! We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone!

This is a truly wonderful property. On arrival, the guest is treated to the open view of the modern kitchen and the open living room and family room. French doors lead to the pool deck and patio, the patio has comfortable furniture, and the pool is partnered with a hot tub. The first impression is that of a spacious, modern and well kept vacation home.
The bedrooms are as described and very comfortable. The master ensuite is luxurious. A large walk-in closet provides ample room for belongings and luggage storage.
The home is conveniently located a short drive from shopping, groceries, and is within easy walking distance of the Living Desert attraction.
Having stayed in Palm Springs several times, I can recommend this as the best rental property we have come across in our travels to the valley. It is a further drive to the outlet stores at Cabazon than staying in Palm Springs as we have done in the past, but this slight inconvenience is offset by close proximity to shops at El Paseo. We enjoyed the place well enough that we have already booked a return stay of longer duration later this year.
The owner is also a delight to deal with. She is attentive to any inquiries, and our deposit was returned quickly wiyhin a couple of days of our stay. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy about the choice of this Desert Rose home. Fantastic stay.

Our family just completed an annual 8-day vacation to Palm Springs. We consider ourselves to be extremely thorough & seasoned home renters and for this trip we selected this home from over two-dozen houses that made our original ‘short list’. This home in Palm Desert did not disappoint.
First of all, the photos provided do not do justice to the spaciousness of the main living area. The house has very tasteful décor with high-quality furnishings throughout & thoughtful design elements. It is extremely clean & uncluttered.
The location is very convenient for a Palms Springs vacation as it is just a short drive from the College of the Desert weekend market & from the El Paseo shopping area. For anyone planning any golfing, it is in close proximity to many of the top courses in Palm Desert & La Quinta. It is also less than a five minute drive to the Living Desert Zoo.
The house is on a VERY quiet street which has quick access but is relatively secluded. It provides complete privacy, from the clean three-car garage to the secured & private front courtyard which gave us added peace of mind while being on vacation.
Our group was extremely diverse as we had our two young children with us (4 ½ years old & 18-months old), my parents (who are seniors in their 70’s), as well as our 15-year old niece. All of us have different preferences & interests and all of us loved this house from the moment we walked in. It did not take us long for it to feel like home.
The kids were in the pool on most afternoons & the hot tub became a nightly routine for the adults. There were pool toys available as well as a few board games & a croquet set. The house is set-up well for cooking as we ‘ate-in’ for a majority of our meals. The granite island in the kitchen gives ample counter space for dinner preparation & all the appliances from the barbeque to the dishwasher were top notch. The master bedroom had a small office area, lavish bathroom with a rain shower & a huge walk-in closet. Too many nice touches to list.
After renting many houses over the years, the homeowner Laurel is a true professional. Correspondence was friendly & prompt and all rental details were extremely well –organized & concise. We would highly-recommend this home & would not hesitate in staying there again.
